Another quiet and mostly uneventful week. If you're enjoying a sunny day, you can thank me for it! I have to work this afternoon because a co-worker of mine is attending a play at her daughter's school. It seemed like a good idea when I agreed to work for her a couple of weeks ago.

~Hamlet~ |
But with the sun out, I've decided that rather than go to work, I'd much rather be hanging around the house...
Maybe playing a round of frisbee with the dogs...

~Sheba~ |
Or just enjoying the sun!

~CC~ |
I hope whatever you're doing, you're enjoying your day--Our resident groundhog seems to be!
Enjoy the weather (after work :-(
ReplyDeletePlay frisbee and enjoy those kids.
Summer is on the way.
Yay
I loved the photos, with that lot at home I think that staying home would be the preference.
ReplyDeleteThank God for uneventful weeks!
ReplyDeleteCute photos! I guess you'll just have grit your teeth and get on with the business of working and that co-worker will owe you big time!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the sun will come out tomorrow too.........
xx
I love that pic of CC!!
ReplyDeleteAll I can do is work and hang out! It's driving me crazy! Once the back starts to improve, look out! I'll be out there in the garden.
Re: stink bugs. I've only found one, yes, one stink bug in the last two weeks. Somehow that frightens me! I'm wondering if I will be bombarded all at once! You think maybe they've all gone away? That would be wishful thinking, wouldn't it?
Have a great day even if you do have to work.
I'd love to see a groundhog ! Hope you enjoy your next day of xx
ReplyDeleteSorry you are missing out on a sunny day :(
ReplyDeleteCC really knows how to relax!
That squirrel cracks me up! What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteWe were supposed to get 2-5 inches of heavy snow overnight but woke up to sunshine instead. Not sure what the weatherman has in store for us today...
Hope you have a good one!

PS - hope you don't get that patient that says, "I didn't brush my teeth this morning because I knew you were going to clean them for me" which I always answered with - "and do you not bathe before you go to the gynecologist?"
What great photos, Kim. All the critters look happy and healthy -- including Mr. Groundhog.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here, but I'm still enjoying my day. :)
I think you have a kind heart! Love the animals here. We have snow this morning! ;D

ReplyDeleteHopefully there will be lots more - sunny days - and it will by your turn to be off.
ReplyDeleteHamlet is one of the most beautiful golden's I've ever laid eyes on! Love the squirrel picture and the rest.
Oh, and I loved your story about the elephants! You go, girl! If I die before you, and I come back as an animal... I want to live with you. LOL> seriously-though.
How nice you are to help your co-worker out. I'm sure she'll do the same for you one day. It looks like the cat has decided to stay at your house.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, really pretty, i love CC-and oh my goodness, ive never seen a groundhog!
ReplyDeletex
Love that 'hanging around the house' shot. We're playing in the water. What could be better on a warm sunny day?

Yikes! That Ground Hog is a big mama jumper , isn't he? Kim, they bite...you and the kids be careful!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteHamlet looks like such a 'wise' old fella.
ReplyDeleteKim, I love the photos and the quotes that go along with them to tell a story...how magnificent.
ReplyDeleteYou know I do that a lot; agree to things because it sounds great at the time, but then when it arrives, it's never that great!
I do hope you get out some this weekend!
:)
What fun pictures to go along with your captions! The favorite for me was of the silly squirrel who is hanging around the house! How did you ever manage to find that squirrel motionless for the camera shot? You must have a high-tech camera to catch all of those poses!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I love all of these photos :o)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!!! Will you get to enjoy tomorrow's weather? Should be another nice one.... just don't look at the forecast for Saturday!!
ReplyDeleteOne look at CC and our momma wanted to tickle that tummy, yesh, she did. And, thanks for the sun today - we really DID enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with KT...the days are long enough you can have fun w/ the critters after work.
ReplyDeleteThat squirrel hanging from feeder looks so familiar, I think his cousin lives at our house...
Hugs to you my friend,
~K
What wonderful pictures ya got there. I adore the one on the squirrel just hangin' around.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to pop over and thank you for your sweet comment over at my place. Please drop in often, the door of the Ponderosa is always open.
God bless and have a fantabulous day sweetie!!! :o)
We enjoyed the time before 7:10am AND the time after 6:10pm!
ReplyDeleteI love all these "spring fever" photos.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I call it when the sun comes out, and I want to be out and around mother nature,.,,

ReplyDeleteThe shot of the squirrel "hanging around the house" gave me a giggle!!!! That's a great one.
Enjoy your after-work time.
We know how you feel! The weather down here has been wonderful lately and we want nothing more than to lounge or go to the park. To bad mom has to work!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
The CheeseHounds
Here's to another quiet and uneventful week. Thank heavens there are still communities where people go to school plays and fill in for one another.
ReplyDeleteMama has been MIA for a couple of weeks, so we're just catching up on your news. How's Charlie? Jed is constantly giving himself lick granulomas. He won't leave the bandages alone, so he ends up in the Cone of Shame while they heal. He's in it now. Hope Charlie does better.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had many stinkbugs, either. Perhaps Jed & Abby eat them. Or maybe mama's housekeeping standards are so low that even the stinkbugs won't come in the house. We're also in a more urban area than you are. Mama's friend who lives up-county on a large acerage is having a terrible time with them this year, too. Hope you get that priceless peace of mind after all your efforts.
Jed & Abby
It's cold and snowy here today ~ our spring is gone ~ but I still don't feel like going to work!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend Kim!
xo Catherine
