Below is a REALLY amateur attempt to do a video of our crew while I was fixing their dinner; of course they were excited!! This is the first video I've ever done, and I know it shows--But it does give you an idea about the dogs we share our lives with. My next video will be better--I'll make sure you can see the cat!
How absolutely precious !
ReplyDeleteHaving worked for a veterinarian for thirty years, I know first-hand, the love and dedication it takes to truly give this kind of care to all of your babies.
You are to be commended.
Great job on the video, it gives a glimpse into your world on a daily basis...
I'm most envious ;)
Hugs,
Jo
Hi Kim
ReplyDeleteOh I love your video. It was such fun seeing your family of dogs. Mabel was sleeping under my desk as she always does when I work on the computer. When she heard the barking she woke right up and could not keep her eyes off of the computer. It was so funny it made me laugh out loud.
It is a good thing you have a nice big kitchen :) to feed all those hungry tummies.
O-M-D Kim, that is just too....ahhhh....Overwhelming?? I laughed and cried. Those faces are what I see in my dreams! What a great crew. They are all so happy AND patient for their chow-chow. I just want to jump into the middle of them and belly rub and hug them. WOW
ReplyDeleteYou can hardly see the floor for all those dogs!! They all look beautiful though...Charlie is especially cute!
ReplyDeletethat was wonderful!!! so funny how the one (missed his name) is so bossy! and cowboy(?)what a sweet face...sounds like he has a bit of laryngeal paralysis....
ReplyDeletethey are all beautiful and i can't think of anything better than a houseful of fur!!!
thanks for the look into your life....
next video...outside routine? can't wait....

Lovely to meet you all! What sweethearts you are.My Bella started barking when she heard he video!

Oh, that was such fun meeting all your precious doggies!!! They are so well behaved for their first ever movie! Tootie heard the barking and decided she needed to add her two cents. Loved it!

Dinner is such a quiet affair at our house - it was fun to watch your kids!

A wonderful movie!!! WOW there are even more dogs than I could imagine! Thanks for the great intros - would LOVE to live with that many doggies, but we can't - at least at this time heheh! What are you feeding them with all the green at the top I briefly caught? And on another tack, you must have soooooooooo much snow!!! I'll bet the pups love playing in it all!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs xo
Sammie
lovely vid!
ReplyDeleteI have an award for you on my blog xxx
OMG that's a lot of dogs...but they all look so cute. You can see they are desperate for their dinner bless them. I'm sure there is never a dull moment in your house. Hope the snow is on its way out. Sue x
ReplyDeleteMy husband passed by my computer as I was watching this and said one word to me - no.
ReplyDeleteWe have three dogs (shelties) at present and he would explode if we had anymore.
I miss goldens. They are special dogs, for sure, and when they are rescues it just makes them even more special.
Oh my gosh, I wish I could come to your house. You are awesome and I love your big family :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic video! You are surrounded by puppy love, aren't you? We have 7 cats and 7 dogs so I do know quite a bit about that feeling myself! ;o) It was funny, my Betina started running around barking and trying to figure out where those doggie voices were coming from! :o)
ReplyDeleteshucks!
ReplyDeletei don't have DSL or high speed, so I cannot watch your movie!
Jeepers, maybe I will just need to come visit you.

Loved meeting all of your babies. Except for Wendy wanting her dinner NOW!!!, they all seem remarkably calm.
ReplyDeleteI guess Charlie thinks he is a Golden, too. He sure is cute.
Does everybody eat the same dinner, or do you have to customize for each one? Either way, it is a lot of work, I am sure. But it sure is paying off, because everyone looks so happy and healthy.I'd love to know what you feed everyone. It seems I am always having to adjust Sophie's food, to meet her needs, best.
Thanks so much for sharing. Everyone is just precious!! And, I think you did a great job!!
Sophie's Mom
what a super video, its great to put a voice to you and lovely to see all your babies.
ReplyDeleteAll I could think of though was all that shedding hair....LOL
What were you giving them for their supper?
You should do a video once a week, featuring one of your babies....

THANKS so much for your comments on my video! I have to admit, that I was/am a little nervous about putting it on my blog for several reasons....
ReplyDeleteA couple of you have asked what I feed our dogs. We feed them a no-grain kibble based diet--ACANA,and a dry food called "NOW" for the seniors. I switch every couple of months between brands--I also really love EVO by INNOVA.
I am a big believer in a healthy diet for the dogs and every day I steam broccoli, carrots, & squash for them. I also always cook ground beef to add to their evening meal. In the morning I add a little bit of canned food--Tiki Dog & Weruva are 2 of my favorites. Even despite the number of dogs we have, the food by itself is pricey. But I know its been balanced out by their good health and less trips to the vet!
Kim,
ReplyDeleteLovely video of your dogs.
I never new you did so much cooking for them also.
It was nice to hear your voice also.
Thanks for sharing.
My husband and I have just watched the video (both of us on separate sides of the room, ha, ha!) and all I can say is "Wow!" :-O
