Heavenly peace...
We always have a picture for our Christmas card and the one above was almost the one we used this year. It was taken earlier this year after a snowstorm. Stop by tomorrow and I'll post what we ended up using as a picture. Today marks 3 days until Christmas. Cards are almost all mailed, packages are sent...I think I'm ready for Christmas. Are you ready too?
That is beautiful, Kim! However, a snow like that would cripple Oklahoma for a week, LOL!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Awesome photo! I especially like the paw prints. :) Can't wait to see tomorrow's picture!
ReplyDeleteAs ready as I'm going to get, haha.
ReplyDelete:)
I love the little paw prints in the snow.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for Christmas except that I'm having a brain fart and haven't been able to remember my next door neighbor's girlfriend's name for three days now. I know it, I just can't think of it. I'm going to have to break down and ask, I guess. This getting old thing stinks.
Great image, I love the pawprints!

At our house we are not even decorated. The paw challenged ones have been busy with Santa tasks and have not done their work at home. If it is to be, a dog has to do it. They make excuses that they will all go to our cousins home for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty front porch. It looks very peacefull.

I am almost ready...today marked the begiining of vacation so Nicholas and I are heading out to shop for Dad/hubby and then the wrapping! not much else to do and that's always fun!
ReplyDeleteLovely picture Kim and it feels so inviting to sit down for a spell; could you turn the heat up though? not taking kindly to the cold :)
I love the Christmas card you did pick! Ready for Christmas? About as ready as I will ever be, I guess!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to my favorite big family on the blogs!
I decided this year that I'm going to work at taking a picture for next year's christmas card. I take so many pictures there has to be one that would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks peaceful right now with the snow and the shoe tracts on the snow.

Wow! So jealous of your snow and your lovely peaceful photo. Hopefully this will be us next year too when we are in Scotland... can't wait to see the photo you did use!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that photo, Kim! It totally sends me a sense of peace - what a shot! That fact that you brought yourself into any sort of Christmas "space," feeling as you did/do - is miraculous! We are almost ready too! Hugs to the puppers!
ReplyDeleteAnd from us!

I'm ready for it and ready for it to be over, to tell the truth. But that's just me, Kim. I'm not so wrapped up in the Christmas thing as many are. But I don't begrudge others for their enthusiasm. Whatever works.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo -- whose doggy paws graced your porch? :) Can't wait to see your Christmas card photo.
I loved the picture! We haven't had any snow yet but they are predicting some for tomorrow. I just hope it is not a whole lot because I get very scared if I have to drive on it.
ReplyDeleteWe are ready for our Christmas. The pets presents have been purchased and our big dog has been sniffing in the cabinet where we put it.

I adore this picture!! I can hardly wait to see what you used.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll get the tree up by tomorrow - and the packages wrapped by the time to unwrap them - I'm so slow this year. I promise to do better next year.

If this is the runner up, then I can't wait to see what won the choice of Christmas card...just so serene and silent.
ReplyDeleteI've been busy working, and not much visiting my favorite blogs, I thought of you today, when the shelter brought us four Goldies to spay and neuter, I hope they find a wonderful home for Christmas.
Wishing you and yours all the blessings of Christmas, I've so enjoyed our visits this past year, and look forward to those in the coming new year...
