I got home early from work on Wednesday, and as our routine dictates, we go for a walk. But the dogs had another thing in mind....
~Rudi and Josh~ |
I doubt it was Carl's full tank of gas that the dogs found so interesting, but rather something with four legs. Whatever it was, Rudi was determined.
We're getting ready to go for our morning walk, and I'm sure this scene will be repeated and repeated and repeated...The words 'a dog with a bone' keeps coming to mind!

Aren't they so funny? I wonder what it was?
ReplyDeleteHi Bubba, you look great.
ReplyDeleteRudi is my kind of (girl, right?).
I bet you guys get lot's of critters at your place.
looks like a bit of road kill residue was in place! :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it make you curious?
ReplyDeleteHi there, Love these photos-your pups always make me smile. Big hugs to you today.
ReplyDeleteNoreen
Well at least it was just a sniff fest and not rolling in something that required a group bath.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it was they could smell? Don't you love those photos of dogs totally focused on finding the source?!

That is what we looked like one day when there was a baby racoon hiding up under the bumper. We chased him up under there, but there is a big gap up there for lots of critters to hide in. The party poopers finally locked us in the back yard and drove the car over by the path into the park and left it there.
ReplyDeleteMOgley G. Retriever
No telling what animal got up there. :)
ReplyDeleteHMMM let me guess...a kitty was under the car? I think I'm right because that's what we all do too if a stinky kitty's hiding under a car. We hope you got it in the end. You all have a wonderful Thurday too!
ReplyDeleteWhat was it???
ReplyDeleteDid ya find out what it was??? We had a flat once on the road and when Hubs pulled out that little doughnut tire there was a rodent nest around it! Ewwwwww!!!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless and have a fantastic day!!!
BTW: Happy Easter Giveaway...my placy...ya'll come!!!
Hahahahhah!! they are so sweet doggies !! lovely ...happy day darling....love Ria....xxx...
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I hope they found what they were looking for. Or maybe not....lol
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you had a great walk. The sunshine makes me jealous.
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteThis pictures sure does look funny with the dogs under the back bumper.
It must be a squirrel or smell of something that surely has peaked their interested.
Glad to see Rudi is going to find the finally evidence no matter what.
One of our friends took her dog out for a walk through the garage door. When they came back the dog was extremely interested and tried to get under the car. Unfortunately a skunk had run into the garage. The dog spooked the skunk which proceeded to let loose all over the dog and the underside of the car. Her boss said that was the best reason he had ever heard for coming in late. It took much money and time for the lingering smell to leave the car.
ReplyDeleteHey Kim,
ReplyDeleteTotally off topic, but do you happen to have any experience with adequan? If so, I'd love to hear about it if you have time.
Thanks!
P.S. The pups look great! Too funny!
Did you ever figure out what was making the dogs so crazy???
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it was. Dogs know so much more about what we may have encountered on our drive home than we do. I loved your raven and the pebble story. That was lovely.--Inger
ReplyDeleteSo what's underneath the car? I'm curious, did anyone manage to find out?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Homer
Too funny! I bet they went back to the car each time they were outside too! Dogs certainly don't forget where they found good things.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm..... now I am curious as to what is under there!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Weekend Kim!
xo Catherine
Maybe a kitty! Sophie goes nuts when she sees or smells one!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos Kim!
I always worry that I hit something - Sam and Monty do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteSam
What could the smell be? Or some critter hiding?
ReplyDeleteTo the "furries", it was one of the best smells in the whole world.. and they want it now!
