Hoping for the Best
I wish that the news about Sandy was better....But she has no energy, no interest in food (very unusual for a Golden!) and is drinking very little water. I thought a morning walk with the gang might perk her up, but all it did was wear her out and caused a bout of bloody 'gastro upset,' which she has had for several days. Sandy hardly leaves our spare bedroom, except to be taken outside, which we insist she do. The vet that sees our dogs doesn't work everyday and will be in the office on Wednesday. Sandy is being seen first thing. When I sit with her and talk to her, it's so easy to see that there's a spark there, which is why I'm hoping for the best.

I will say a big prayer for Sandy today Kim.
ReplyDeleteEven if it is God's will that Sandy come Home at this time, she left knowing that she was wanted and cared for even though she was not at her best. What a wonderful gift that is to take Home!

All you can do is make her comfortable and you are obviously doing that.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs.
Saying a prayer that the vet is able to figure out her problem & that she`ll be feeling more like herself soon.phyllis
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for the sadness. Sandy has had alot to adjust to over the past few weeks, so maybe--hopefully--she is just a bit depressed and will come back out of it. At least she is safe and cared for no matter what. You guys are such a blessing.
ReplyDeleteTammy
Hoping along with you that she has more happy time left!

ReplyDeleteOh dear Kim, poor Sandy. Maybe it's just that she's tired from all the travelling and needs time to settle in a new home. Hope it's nothing too serious. Good luck at the vets. Sue x x
