What Goes Around!

I received a text message in the early morning hours.  It was from a co-worker and she said that she has apparently gotten the same thing that I had on Tuesday, and she won't be into work today.  She asked if I would please cover for her at the front desk.  If you read my last post, you'll hope as I do, that if her 'illness' is anything like mine was (NOT), that she enjoys her Friday.  I hope you enjoy your Friday too!!
~Lucas~
**No word from the board of directors of the rescue on Lucas's dental treatment.  I expect and hope to hear this weekend.

  3. Oh boy. You are not kidding. When someone is sick, we usually all get sick. Just spray lots of lysol and disinfect everthing, especially the phones.
Lucas is adorable. Love this photo of him.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  9. What a cute picture of Lucas, although it took me a couple of seconds to figure out that was his paw across his snout. I guess I am just not awake enough yet....must get some caffeine.

  19. Poor Lucas! I wonder if his paw on head thing has anything to do with his bad teeth? I have noticed that I am doing the same thing (with my hands) due to my really bad tooth...

Well, at least it's Friday and tomorrow you can do your version of relaxing... :-)

  20. I hope Lucas isn't putting his paw over his jaw because he is in pain, looks cute though.
Alaska update, we are in the midst of another blizzard and expect at least a foot of new snow...we are going for the record this year! I have to get out there today after work and shoot more snow photos for ya.

  23. It's nice that you and your co-workers cover for each other like that. You're right - an act of kindness often spurs another one, like yours.

    Fingers crossed for Lucas's treatment.

  24. How incredibly wonderful it is that you have such an awesome rescue behind you and your dogs! I struggle to get enough money to take care of one sick dog and getting another one neutered! I'm afraid that there would be no way that I would be able to care for Luca properly. I hope that one day I will have enough backers to fund the rescue and care of more dogs but until then, I'll just have to do my best for one dog at a time. Thank God that there are so many caring people who know that you can't put a dollar value on a dog's life and/or health! Luca (and the others) was so blessed to end up in your care.

  25. oh dearest little lucas.
i think he must hurt. i can't imagine every tooth in his head being infected and it not hurt! surely it's as important as any other treatment! i so hope they approve it.
waiting anxiously for the next word.
    love and hope,

  31. What a wonderful photo of Lucas. He sure likes to have his paw up on his snout or his head. Wonder if that's due to pain in his jaw?

Sure hope your boss doesn't read your blog :)
