Problems with My Dashboard

I'm off work today and thought that on this rainy day it would be a perfect time to catch up on my blog-reading.  However an issue that I had about a month ago with the blogs I follow has once again started to reoccur.  I'm having a problem where some of the blogs that I follow are not appearing on my dashboard (or in goggle reader). I've posted 4 times in the help forum and get absolutely no response.  I've tried everything, signing in and out, clearing the cache, etc., and I even reloaded google chrome, re-followed the blogs that I know aren't there and they still don't appear--Nothing resolves the issue--I have to admit that I'm feeling really frustrated.  Does anyone have any thoughts about what I could do or who I could contact?  Can I just tell you how frustrating it is?  THANK YOU for your thoughts, I appreciate it!!

Sheba would rather go outside and play than be inside, in any weather!

  1. I have been having the same problem where the blogs I follow are blank and say something about the server, but when I click on them they appear. Hope you can resolve your problem soon. Sheba looks so cute by the window.
    How is Sam doing?

  2. Hey, Kim, I wish it was raining here..every time a cloud comes over, I get my hopes up.
How long have you subscribed to Google chrome? Since Blogspot changed the format, I'm scared to connect to anything new. But sometimes, when I click into blogs that I know are around, a message pops up that says I cannot connect to server. I'm wondering if those blogs were Blogspot or something else. I don't think I've ever paid attention to that. By the time we have this one figured out, Blogspot will change something again. Take care,

  4. i've had this happen - sometimes for up to a week at a time. then all of a sudden, google reader will populate with 35+ posts that had occurred during that week on about 12 different blogs. very frustrating!

  5. Hi there, I understand how frustrating google can be-just when we are getting to understand all the changes, something happens. I know I've had that happen a couple of times and I think it takes a few hours for them all to show back up.
How is Sam? Sheba looks so cute. We could use the rain here with the fire.
    Have a great afternoon.

  9. I started using Bloglovin instead of an RSS feed. So much easier to follow and you can organize your blogs into any category you want to set up. People can follow you also! I highly recommend it!

  10. Hi Kim!

I indeed know how frustrating blog issues can be. Have you tried what I did? Enabling cookies is you have them disabled? You can look up how to do that as it took me quite a while to figure out how to reanable them (quite a lot longer than it took me to disable them!!!)and I don't remember how I did it now, but it is in your browser account settings, that much I remember! Anyhow, it solved my problem in no time!

  12. Hi Kim,
We had mentioned that we were having some blog issues where people who leave us commnets- we are not getting them.
Now another problem came up. Today I had 15 posts all in a row from someone that we do not even know who they are---sort of like Glamour magazine or something bazar.
I did not even read them!
I get so worried and don;t know how to change from one thing to another.
    We are still on blogspot.
I hope all this gets fixes soon as its very nerve wracking!

  13. I'm not sure how to solve the problem. I know for one of the blogs that I follow, I had to enter the RSS feed instead of the regular blog address. I only use Google reader anymore, though, and not the Blogger reader. I'm not sure if that will help or not.

  14. My dashboard has been driving me nuts too! Sometimes there's only a few blogs there and the next it says I'm following none! So now I have so many bookmarked that it's crazy! My advise......just breath. LOL!
