Post Christmas Weekend

The five day weekend has come to a close. The weekend had everything.
~Gus~
A chuckle at things like this birth announcement sign in front of the church on our road.  I think it was meant as a joke--What do you think?
We enjoyed a really nice dinner and evening with our friends and their family.  When we got home, we were met by a very happy and exuberant Todd outside of his crate. I really thought I'd locked the door when I put him in.
Todd of course won't tell me if I actually did or not.
The mild weather allowed us to spend plenty outside with the dogs.
~Josh~
But now it's time to go back to work.
Which I think is okay with the dogs.  I think they're missing getting their naps.
~A tired Cricket~
I hope your post Christmas weekend has been an enjoyable one too!!

  3. I think Todd has become an escape artist. I know you love the time off, but aren't you glad it's over? The dogs look happy and tired.

  4. Sounds like a relaxing time....just what you need before you have to hit that peak traffic.

  5. Well I hope Todd passed this little test and didn't get into any trouble other than getting out of his crate. We've been finally leaving Millie and Walter free in the house for a few hours and recently was gone for 5 hours with no problem. They are lucky to have retired parents so they are rarely left alone.

  14. Haha - I always think Harlow is glad when we go to work. When I'm home she follows me everywhere and gets to the point where she throws herself down on the ground for a nap. I think we keep her up.

Did Todd leave any evidence of the fun he had while he was out?

  16. Little Kali took only 15 minutes to escape the first time she was put in a crate. The peeps wound up getting a tough metal crate for her-it was from Kong.

  18. It's cold and rainy here so everyone is playing with the new toys. So far they're all still intact, though Sydney would like to change that.
