Onward to Christmas!

It's the end of the Thanksgiving weekend.  It doesn't feel like I've been off work for 4 days, because it passed by so quickly.
-Cissy, everyday is a weekend for her!-
This afternoon the handsome Berkley did go back to his foster home.  We enjoyed our weekend guest, and I'm glad I could do a favor for another foster home.
-The only photo of I have Berkley-
This week on the agenda is a visit to the vet for our newest arrival, Sherlock.  I've noticed that he's not putting any weight on a back leg, so he'll be seeing the vet to have that looked at.
-Sherlock-
Around the house we are at the very beginning of preparations for Christmas.
-The lovely Ms. Yellow-
We all know it will be here before we all know it!  It never came this fast when we were kids, did it?

  2. Please don't say "it passed so quickly". Not good. We'll be at the first anniversary of Kyla's passing soon.

  4. How sad that Berkley has had to leave the fold - we hope he's gone to a good foster home. If we didn't live so far away, we would have been round to offer him a forever home.
Hope the decorations met with Todd's approval?

  16. We put away all the Thanksgiving decorations today. Since we have retired, we truly enjoy the slow business of decorating for Christmas. It used to be a madhouse weekend. Now we space it out over several weeks. So much better that way. Love the kitty with the lights. And Todd helping with the wreath.

  23. Looking forward to hearing about Sherlock. Hoping it is nothing serious and will be taken care of quickly.
Gus has a bump on his back that we are rechecking tomorrow. It's always a little nerve wracking until we know for sure what is going on with our pups, isn't it?
I know you will miss Berkely, pretty cute boy!
I always enjoy your pictures, but especially love that sweet last picture of Todd.
