The second day of spring brought a winter storm to our area of Virginia that ended up giving most people like me a day off.

~No commute for me!~ |
We got more than 6 inches of heavy-wet-snow before it stopped falling late in the afternoon.
Of course I took a lot of pictures. But I'll share just a few snowy scenes from our house on the second day of a new season Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

For me, it was the perfect snow day!
I think Snowman Todd agrees with me!
If you found yourself in the middle of "Winter Storm Toby" I hope you had a good day too!
Looks like a really fun day . . .
ReplyDeleteHappy Springtime “with the kids” Kim . . .
Hello, the dogs all look happy to be playing in the snow. Snow days are great when you do not have to go to work or be anywhere. We had about 10 inches of the heavy snow. Cute photos, I love all your sweet dogs. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to have had a grand time in all that snow! We are still buried under that last storm's blanket... I am so ready for "real" spring!
ReplyDeleteHugs for now...
The baseball teams will be breaking camp soon and heading north-to THAT?
ReplyDeleteThis time the storm missed us but we still have plenty of snow on the ground due to colder than normal temps. Your pups sure look like they were enjoying themselves.
ReplyDeleteOne of the Cost Centres commented that DC in snow shows it's a Southern town. Everything stops. The Farragut Square Starbucks completely deserted. Accident and Emergency by contrast hectic. Hope you stayed warm !
ReplyDeleteThey all love that snow, and I wonder if they feel the cold at all.Guess for the short time, their thick fur is a wonderful overcoat.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW ! you did get lots of snow , Hope it all melts soon and spring does arrive for you there , all though your clan seems to be having a blast in the snow . Lovely photos . Thanks for sharing , Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteFun shots, very pretty too. Glad the dogs are loving it!
ReplyDeleteOMG, look at Todd - a true snowdog!!! Wish we could have some of that glorious snow too.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I wish Mr Beau was there to play in the snow with your dogs! Looks like a great time. :)

ReplyDeleteWe're so jealous. We haven't had snow in weeks. Playing in mud just isn't the same.

ReplyDeletebut then look at your beautiful and fun subjects! XOXO
What a surprise Kim! I am glad you got to be home with all the furrys, and they look like they were happy too! Beautiful photos and those paw prints too!
