A Snowy Wordless Wednesday

  1. Wow! Quite a post-card scene! I bet the wind chimes sound beautiful in that setting.

  2. Isn't snow beautiful when it's fresh? As much as I hate winter and snow, I have to admit that all the white stuff is certainly pretty. If we lived in Alaska, we'd be more equipped to handle the chaos it creates here in the lower 48. I've had enough of it for one winter, bring on spring! Your pic is just beautiful!

  3. That is so gorgeous. But I'd be crying by now. I LOVE snow, but three days is plenty. The sun is shining here today, but temps are middle 30's with the wind blowing 30 mph and gusts of 50+. I just can't win. For such cold weather I sure am getting hot under the collar! Stay warm...drink cocoa!

  16. Kim & Gang,
Can we see a photo of the grimy black diesel exhaust soot slush mounds along the side of I-66? Ya need to pan out on your photo and show the car(s) stuck in the ditch in front of the house. Add a sound track of metal to metal collision contact and of course some ambulance, fire truck and police sirens. The nice front porch winter scene photo just doesn't convey the full "beauty" of 4 feet of new and old snow. Ooooowwwww, hows about apicture of the Tyson's Galleria parking lot mountains.
Just kidding, actually very pretty as long as the power stays on.

  17. What a serene and silent picture...
There is something so magical when the snow falls and nature's blanket wraps everything in its sight.
You live in a beautiful part of the country, I hope to visit with you often ..
    Stay warm !
