I read somewhere this week that
"sometimes in life it's just about the moment."
For some reason, this really struck a cord within me. And, as I considered this thought and looked around, I could see that sometimes it really is just about an instant where time stands still
and there is pure joy in that single moment.
I hope you 'enjoy the moments' of your weekend!
A perfect 10!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Haha ~ I think we could all do with a roll in the grass once in awhile! That looks like fun! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend Kim!

I agree, Kim!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy many moments this weekend too!
I can just hear the dogs rolling and feeling the "ahh" moments!
Love, love, LOVE when dogs snarfle in the grass! I recently posted our little 13 yr old lab Marigold doing similar moves! Just pure unadulterated joy! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one happy puppy, Kim :-)!! And what a great smile, too!
ReplyDeleteLovely post! And it only lasted a moment! Have a great weekend. Enjoy all those moments!
ReplyDeleteOh Kim
ReplyDeleteSuch awsome moments.
It would feel so good to have that special feeling of rolling in the grass and leaves. I think I will look around and find an awsome moment of my own. Thank you for reminding me- to take the time to enjoy those special moments.
Awsome photos

The moments you have posted are the best in the world, green grass and a rolling happy dog.
ReplyDeleteIt does not get any better than that.

All of my Goldens have performed happy dances during their lives. Some occasionally (Sunny and Lady), one often (Cosmo, but Devo.... he was the king of happy dances. It is their uninhibited blast of pure joy. Nothing is better, nothing makes me happier. Probably my favorite Golden thing.
ReplyDeleteThe old Scots line " Grow old with me, the best is yet to be " came to mind when I saw those photos.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures put a big smile on my face! Gorgeous.

At this moment, I am enjoying that first morning cup of coffee while reading my favorite blogs, with Tootie in my lap. Now that's a moment to treasure. Have a good weekend, Kim!

Great post Kim and so meaningful in a world that reveres multitasking....to be present fully in each moment of our lives, with joy and an open heart just like your pups in those pictures...wow what a wonderful thought!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and thanks for this wonderful post...

Thanks Kim! I hope you have those 'moments' as well. We with dogs just have to watch them.....they can teach us how to do it.

You guys really know how to enjoy the moment! Jack Frost hasn't visited our area of the country yet, but we can tell he's just around the corner. It was 85 degrees Thursday before Halloween and right now at noon it's only 53 degrees! Some of us are loving the cooler weather and others not so much - especially MOM! She's thinking of heading out on the next cruise ship that leaves Charleston going somewhere WARM!
ReplyDeleteBut, we know she wouldn't go without us, and, oh yeah, DAD!

Hi Kim, As always your posts make me smile. Yes, we should stop and live in the moment and enjoy every second cause life passes by too quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Noreen
Lovely post...the pups and I are headed out to roll around in the leaves!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend,
~K and The Pups
Bella certainly enjoyed her 'moment' today...rolling in fox's poo! We are sitting here watching the TV smelling of 'eau de fox'...lovely...NOT!! Don't you just love em? :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing those precious moments with us.
I too hope that your weekend is filled with many happy moments...
sweet!
ReplyDeleteHope you're all having a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteFew things touch my heart as much as when an old dog is truly, truly HAPPY!--Inger
ReplyDeleteYes..I am enjoying every single one! The rain for 3 days had kept me inside...very unusual for me to be in so much. I believe my closeness is helping with my Dad's health issue. I know exactly what to do!
ReplyDeleteYour photos made me smile. It always seems, to me, that dogs are trying to perfect the "doggie backstroke" (like humans swim on thier backs) when they do this - paws everywhere and pure joy in the moment!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant post, I love the photos of the dogs letting lose :o)I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy Neeli loves to do the same thing (and let's not forget how special it is when there's something smelly in the grass too).
