A Cheesecake shot of our boy Sam |
There's nothing like the thought of lunch and company of a good friend to get your attention and make you feel better--Don't you agree? I met my friend Eileen yesterday for lunch at 'The Cheesecake Factory.'
In my opinion, what can be more soothing to the soul, tummy-filling and sociable than having lunch and a piece of cheesecake with a friend? Or if you don't like cheesecake, something else just as delectable? As always when I get to see my friend, it was really an enjoyable visit and just what I needed to forget that I wasn't feeling well. I hope your week is ending on a good note too and that you have an enjoyable weekend!
You can dangle cheesecake in front of me all you want, but I'd prefer that beautiful old golden in the top photo over anything. :) What a sweet and loving face!!!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness - look at all those lovely cakes! How on earth do you choose?! Definitely just what the doctor ordered.
ReplyDeleteHope it made you feel better.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had such a wonderful time with your friend...it has been a week! I had to read down all the things I missed and WOW you won the lottery so a $149.00 profit! but as you stated, 'lucky' is good, but blessed is Wonderful! I love your photos of the dogs...so sweet!
Ohhhhh, that looks so good! I have a giganormous sweet tooth. Some day, when I'm driving down to Woodbridge, maybe I can stop off along the way and eat cheesecake with you!

Oh my - I just discovered that if I click on the photo the cheesecakes get even bigger. And I can read the labels, which only adds to the torture/enjoyment. I'll have a piece of the Brownie Sundae Cheesecake, please. Do you deliver?
ReplyDeleteIsn't cheesecake one of the food groups?
ReplyDeleteWish the one in Baltimore was closer to York - but then again, maybe I'm glad it isn't!
Ooooh yes, we love cheesecake! Too bad they don't do decent ones in Italy.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Homer

Can I come next time? It looks heaven! xxx
ReplyDeleteYou had a go for:
ReplyDeleteLunch with a friend and cheesecake, I sure could go for either!
We're glad you're feeling enough better to be able to enjoy a restorative lunch with your friend. Cheesecake is a wonderful restorative, especially when joined with a cup of the genial beverage [mama is a devotee of hot tea]. We've never gotten to go to a Cheesecake Factory, but mama has and she says it's delish. We'll have to take her word for it.

Five o'clock in the morning, and I want cheesecake! I need to make one today.
ReplyDeleteIt would only be better, if I had a dear friend to come and share it. You may bring your puppies - we have lots of space for them to run around.
A big hug.
I don't know what else to say except "Yummy"!
ReplyDelete:)

Hi Kim. Oh, those desserts look wonderful. I don't care for cheesecake... but I was looking to see if I could find some chocolate eclairs tucked in there somewhere...
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better.
We love the first picture - and love his nearly pure-white "heart"! That is a sign that old gold is best and most beloved... but, a slice of cheesecake is good too!
ReplyDeleteSam
I'll have one small piece of everything just to make sure they are alright for everyone else to eat!!
ReplyDeleteGill in Canada
It sounds like you had a wonderful time with a good friend. Now, I hope that you feel better for real.
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteI'm just drooling looking at all these beautiful cakes.
Which one did you choose? I think I would have taken a few extras home for dessert during the week. Would have to buy double because Hubby would want some also.
Ok that's just a rotten excuse but it may work.
Glad none of those is within my reach! Sam reminds me of my dear departed friend, Breezy.
