There's just something about the first snow of the year. And there's something about watching a puppy enjoy their first snowfall. Todd of course, loves it and has enjoyed chasing the falling snowflakes. This morning I took this 20-ish second video of him playing in it for the first time.
We've been out several times playing in the snow and now that my feet and my hands are warmed up, we're going back outside to catch more snowflakes and pictures.
Enjoy your day!!
Excellent work!

aarrrrrrrr SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, they all love the snow so much, but it is very special when they get to play in their very first snow. I remember Samson, he was sooo happy. Thanks for the update you left on my blog. Yes, I know about Hamlet and you know how much I loved him, but I didn't know about Rudi. With two old dogs of my own, I admire you so much for what you do for the goldens.
ReplyDeleteI went back and read about Rudi. It was too hard to find the time to read blogs at the library this summer so I missed a lot, but this was the worst. I am so sorry to hear about her. Sending hugs...
ReplyDeletevery very cute! We too woke up to snow. Emerson went full speed ahead into it and Oliver looked downright upset that I'd have the nerve to think he'd be going to the bathroom with his toes in this cold white stuff. They are something, aren't they? Happy snow day! :)
ReplyDeleteOh that little Todd, he just brings a smile to my face!! just love him :)
ReplyDeleteAh, there's nothing like seeing a puppy experience everything for the first time. Snow may be the very most fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're cold???? I thought that you used to live in Alaska :)
I fear it may be a long winter
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit

We loved watching Todd play in the snow. It brought back memories of Abby's 1st snow which was 8 - 10" deep.

ReplyDeleteAlso thankyou for your kind comments on my blog following the passing of my mother-in-law. I so appreciate it!
Todd is one happy pup!! Oh gosh im so jealous - I hope it will snow just a dusting atleast again this year here in Texas. Granted I would love inches and inches but that never happens :) Do you have room for me and 2 furry ones for the winter?! :)
ReplyDeleteWe heard about the snow on the news all the way over here in Germany, it was that big of a sensation to get the white stuff before Halloween. Loved the little video of Todd playing in his first snow. Him and Cody would have a grand time together, cuz our guy LOVES snow. We can hardly get him to come in out of it even when he is shivering from the cold after too many hours. We finally bought him a knit doggie sweater for this winter! Hope you are having a Happy Halloween! ~Debby
ReplyDeleteTodd is so cute! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThor and Jack
I think Todd is one of the few who enjoyed this early surprise snow!

We got our lasting snow this week. It is such fun to see the innocent joy our dogs experience in the new fallen snow. Todd is adorable!
ReplyDeleteKim I need a dog!!! I really miss not having a dog!! I miss Bambi so much, Heck I miss Tinker who bit me every day!!! It just broke my heart to send her back!!!!
ReplyDeleteTom was right she was going to really hurt me bad if she had stayed. She was escalating in her biting!!!
xx, Fern
Dear Todd just reminded me of the wonder and joy I experienced the first time I saw and felt snow! His exuberance was so touching and precious. Have a great day guys...

I remember my first snow. It was werid at first, but now I look forward to it each year. I like to roll up snow balls with my nose and then flip them in the air and catch them. Fun Fun. You have fun Todd, enjoy the snow!
