Todd was really worn out from the day!

A Busy Day for Lucas and Todd
My day off switched this week to today. So I've had to remind myself all day that it's Wednesday, I need to work on Thursday, and Friday isn't as close as I'd like it to be! Actually, it was nice to be off today because I had a bad day at work Tuesday. I've needed the day to forget all about everything and enjoy a beautiful day of blue skies, sunshine and lots of warmth!
Lucas did have to go to the dentist for a post-op check. The dentist was really happy with how everything has healed and he has given Lucas the 'all clear' for the next surgery in two weeks. He is now free to rub his face on the floor and have crunchy treats if he'd like!
Todd went to the groomers today. I think the groomer clipped him a little short, but that's okay. I'm remembering when I have had my own hair cut too short, it grows--I know Todd's will too! He didn't seem to mind or notice. He was more bothered by the chiffon bow!

My back went out this afternoon. I can barely move. Not much computer time for me until it's better...
Lucas is looking all better, Bless him....his little tongue hanging out the side of his mouth :)

Lucas already looks a million times better - he must be feeling a lot of relief! Imagine living with that chronic pain and then having it lifted away - I'd be smiling, too!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about you having a bad day at work. I remember those days. Thankfully I have not had one of them in 5 years now. I am now a stay at home wife. But I do have bad days here at times. Like for instance when Roscoe is sick with an upset stomach. That breaks my heart. So happy to know that Lucas is doing great. And Todd, well he is just adorable.

ReplyDeleteGlad the dental appointment went well. As always the dogs are so cute and so sweet. I love the photos. They are really good dogs. It's always a joy to visit your blog and see your animals. You can tell they are loved and well cared for my a loving owner.
ReplyDeleteIt's ok Todd, short hair is cooler in the summer and it doesn't get as messy so maybe fewer baths. My dogs always get tired at the groomer's. It must be boredom.

ReplyDeleteNo surprise that Todd loved that blue ball: it sounded like he was killing a rat, over and over and over. Also so surprise the ball mysteriously disappeared.

Maybe the new neighbors will take their time about building. Construction loans are still really hard to get. Hope they're nice. But such a pity about your walking space being reduced.

I had to go to the dentist today, and the dentist wanted to meet K who was out in my 4Runner. So, he sat in the back seat and petted K while we chatted. What a nice guy. I hope that Lucas has an equally nice dentist!
Oh that's such good news about Lucas. He has such a sweet face. Does his personality match (Im sure it does). As for Todd....he looks adorable! Love seeing his open expression. Often with terriers, this is concealed.
