I was on the road early this morning to get Todd to the vet for his yearly exam, blood work and rabies vaccine. Todd weighs in at 26.4 pounds (12 kilograms) and got a clean bill of health and lots of treats! He was really good at the vet and celebrated when he got home by harassing the cat.
Thank-you for the healing thoughts for Annie and I. I am just fine and Annie's toe is looking better and is not nearly as sore or as swollen as it was.
There's no doubt that she's feeling much, much better and it shows.
It's a quiet weekend for us. The weather is just gorgeous and we've not done much other than spend some time on the front porch relaxing and watching Carl do yard work. I should probably help him, because we are really behind on mowing and trimming, but he's doing a great job!

Hi Kim, I'm so glad Annie is feeling better and that your week ended on a better note. Glad Todd is such a trooper at the vet-Hunter was only there once and let's just say he squealed like a pig when he got his shot. Hope you have a wonderful weekend friend.

Why yes, Annie looks very happy and sweet. Easton says Sheba has a "kissable muzzle" (I think he has a new crush). Good news about Todd, though the Khat may see it different....BOL

Oh, boy does Annie's toe look sore! I'm glad she's feeling better though. good to hear that Todds regular check went well. I'm sure they must love him at the vets. I think supervising from the porch is a great job. If Carl's doing such a good job why steal his thunder. LOL!

I just caught up on your crazy week. I'm glad that Annie is on the mend and so are you. That whole episode sounded very upsetting.
ReplyDeleteI was just trying to figure out how old Todd is now. I remember when he was a tiny puppy...
Annie looks like she's under less stress. Lola's toe looked about like that when she had her bite. It took a lot longer to come back to normal than I expected, but she was a good patient and now everything is fine again. Hope Annie continues to improve.
