However he wasn't really happy about this though....
Our end of the day was dinner out at our favorite restaurant with our two of our most favorite friends. Our meal began with an artichoke and crab appetizer that was served warm with a baguette. My dinner was pumpkin ravioli in a sherried onion sauce, with toasted walnuts, dried cranberries and sweet potato strings--Rich and delicious!! It was a relaxing and enjoyable evening with our friends! Christmas is going to be here before I know it, and I'm just getting started on the Christmas cards.

Seems like the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas used to crawl by when I was little. Now it flies by before I can even catch my breath. What happened?
ReplyDeleteI feel the same as you and Sue, Kim! Further, I am in a Doan Wanna mood as well. So I am making some English Muffins because I am out of bread and then next, some sewing or maybe a movie on Netflix! I feel like the wurst bad girl on Santa's list!
ReplyDeleteCheers and hugs,
Jo

Just wait until you're a little older. It'll come even faster. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI do wish, many days, that it would slow down just a little!
Have a wonderful week, Kim. ♥
Looks like everyone is in the Christmas spirit. Todd is a typical scottie he thinks the hat is beneath him but we know he's not too big for Santa.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
We can tell you all had a wonderful time-- and thinking about food makes us hungry!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos---

Love Todd's coat and the head gear. Your meal at the restaurant sounds divine.
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds delish! Todd is so cute in his coat and Santa hat. I'm so glad that none of our pups has ever required coats to keep warm outside. Even when it was only 5 degrees yesterday morning they were happy to romp in the snow.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Great dinner, and great fun with the dogs in the snow! Yes, Christmas never ever snuck up on us when we were kids!
ReplyDeleteI hear you! I feel like I'll never possibly be ready for it! And I am SURE that it took forever to get here when I was a kid!
ReplyDeleteOh, Todd is just precious and having so much fun! Bur, then look at Annie.. and Shadow!! Each picture is cuter and sweeter than the last.
ReplyDeleteAnnie looks wonderful. I hope she is feeling well.
It seems like Todd was just a puppy. He is so grown up and stoic. Very handsome!

Gus' Mom
ReplyDeleteChristmas time has snuck on all os us. Where has this year gone? I I have not sent a card out either.
Our weather here in Florida does not help though. It is extremely hot here. I wish we could have atleast these 2 last weeks of the year with some cold weather, even if just in the 60's.
Have a great week. Ana
I am working on my cards today! Are your dogs on yours? Everyone is saying "it was just Halloween!" We're all in the same boat. Love the photos - they are adorable! I wonder if Henri would let me put a hat on him?
ReplyDeleteHa ha - so great that you were able to get such cute mug shots with the hats. :)
ReplyDeleteTodd looks adorable in that coat...I love it. And that restaurant, wow, sounds wonderful! Pups are cute in their Christmas hats...Merry Christmas everyone!

Monty and Harlow
Merry Christmas Kim and all the Pups!!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas has really come quickly this year - I suddenly realised that I was being way to relaxed about the whole thing and needed to get my skates on if we were going to have anything to eat over the Christmas period. Was December shorter than usual??!! xxx
ReplyDeleteTodd, Annie & Shadow look so festive. Yes I believe time has changed and we get less of it but more to do !
ReplyDeleteEvery single year I think Christmas comes faster!! What a lovely dinner you all had...it sounds so good!! We have a ton of snow as well and that has slowed us down too. Love the Santa hats!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...in case I don't get back by before then Kim!! xo Jeanne, Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteAwww!! Your dogs look absolutely adorable in those elf hats! Don't know what else to say, they are just so cute. Our Mickey wouldn't probably keep hat like those for more than 5 minutes and it would be gone.... :-D
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your top picture is so beautiful; would make a gorgeous Christmas card. So peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog today. I agree, Christmas just seems to come around faster and faster as each year passes. Gorgeous pooches, a delicious restaurant meal, and time spent with friends was a great way to spend a day. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you and your family, delightful photos you have been posting, living in the tropics now, I do sometimes miss a good snow day off from routines
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! We're envious of all that snow!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteIf you're a dog or a kid, it is forever 'til Christmas, but my Human said this year the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas were fewer.
