Outside it was a cold dreary day with what the weathermen called  'conversational snow,' which doesn't amount to anything or disrupt any plans.

Inside Charlie.......
and Todd all were hoping for a 'conversation' with the kitten.
Actually, I think that Todd is done with 'conversation.'
He's ready to take his friendship with Dale to the next level.
I wonder what Dale thinks about that?

  1. Watch your snooter Todd. I speak from experience.

  2. Oh I think Dale can handle himself and watch out Todd, it may be you that will be listening bol

  3. So sweet! Happy new week to you and your pack, Kim!

    Satu and Mickey

  4. If Dale is anything like the cats we come across...we think there'll be a few spats ahead!

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  5. I'm sure you didn't notice the miserable weather, your day was probably filled with fun from the antics of cat v dogs. Great shots captured of your entertaining animal day.

  6. Dale will have that special personality that all ginger boys have, and those doggies will get to love him too. Cheers from Jean, no conversational weather here yet, just a cooler night so far.

  7. I've never heard the phrase 'conversational snow', but it does sum up the weather nicely. Love seeing your picturues of the dogs and Dale (who is very handsome btw).

  8. I think Dale is the kind of cat who will remain aloof from the attempts to wind him up! I expect the dogs thought you brought him home just for them!! xxx

  9. Morning Kim, ahh, so cute, so interesting Dale is, Hugs Francine.

  10. I've been so busy lately I haven't been following as I should!!
So happy about your new addition!! and such a lovely color!!
Boy that Ice storm looked horrible.....we have been just snow..and what a me this is what winter used to be.....snow snow and more snow!!
    looks so pretty...
I love your saturday you I have the same happy...however fruitloops were not here yet!! for me it was Sugar Smacks!!!!!
Well... give Dale a head scratch from me!!!

  11. oh, those pups!

    conversational snow - too cute!

  12. these photos and this story... continuing saga of dale moving in... need to be in a book! they're so good.
you have many books in you.
but when you're old and gray you can write them.
now i'm so glad you simply share the conversations at golden pines with US!!! xoxo ♥

  13. So cute! and love the picture of Charlie giving him a kiss!

  14. With all that canine attention Dale must have a really strong karma !

  15. Well who is dale gonna make friends with first!

    The Mad Scots

  16. I can't wait to see how things develop with Dale and the dogs. He is so very handsome and I have a feeling he will be able to hold his own : )
I had a ginger kitty and he was such a love. When I look at Dale I go all mushy inside.

  17. I think this is going to be so much fun watching the friendship develop - maybe with a few fur flying fun just because. I love how their furs compliment each other!

  18. Your dogs and Dale are all so cute! So Todd and Dale are good friends, I hope so. I am tired of seeing snow! Enjoy your week ahead!

  19. Once Dale gives Todd a little swat, Todd will move to a whole new level...LOL!...:)JP

  20. Haha. Your dogs are so funny. :-)
I think Dale is ready for anything. Only one way to find out though. Good luck when you do that! :-)
Been cold and wet all day here. Have a wonderful week!

  21. Does the next level include a chase?

    Aroo to you,

  22. pretty much looks like Todd and Dale are definitely going to take it to the next level...which may or may not involve...chasing, scratching, or meowing or barking!! Such fun!! Glad everybody is getting along!!

  23. Dale looks like he is up to the challenge...

    Monty and Harlow

  24. I think Dale says he's ready - Dale can stand his own ground and blends in just beautifully!! xox

  25. I hope you keep the camera ready! :)

  26. Hi Y'all!

Oh Dale is such a cutie!

We're in the midst of an ice storm here in the deep south and it is racing your way! Stay safe!

It seems so strange to look across the river and see NO lights...Do worry that our electric will go out tonight.

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  27. I doubt Todd has ever walked away from a challenge, although he might get a swipe at his cute little nose. They are the same cute is that?
