It Has to End!

As expected, my office was closed on Monday because of the snow.  However it wasn't as bad as the weathermen swore it would be.
And it was just enough for the dogs to enjoy it.
Our first snow-days of the year, I was outside with the dogs, and I wasn't getting anything done.

I think I've gotten it all out of my system because this snow-day was a productive one that consisted of cleaning and baking 4 loaves of banana bread.  There's no question that bread is worth the work. But all the cleaning that was done, I think is a clear sign that the snow-days have to end!
Even if the winter isn't quite at an end, what is finally coming to an end is my not feeling well. Thank-you all for sending your healing-vibes, I think they made a difference!  I hope you're doing well and having a good week!!

  4. We can so learn from the animals, can't we, my friend. Make a playday despite whatever life throws at you... including snowballs! :-)

So happy you're feeling better, Kim! Hold on... spring is on the way. 13 more days according to the weatherman!! Even though we still have much snow on the ground here too... and the temperature is only 27 right now... I have the picture window open just a crack, to let in the glorious smell of fresh air.

It's coming, girl... spring is coming. Hang on!!

    Love ya~ Andrea

Have to say your snow might be long lasting and you'll obviously be glad to say goodbye to it, but the photos are great - it all looks so pretty. I especially like your last photo (but then you probably guessed that, lol) :-)

  9. to think you have that beautiful snow on your lawn while we have beautiful green grass and 80 degree weather. There is something wrong. We in Miami, Florida have had no cold days. I just wish it would be in the 60's for a week or two.
Glad to know that you and Todd are feeling better. The bread looks very yummy.

Hopefully, it's the last snow for the season. Crazy weather. Wonder what Mother Nature has in store for you this summer.

  26. I'm glad you are feeling better. I love watching dogs galloping around in the snow and getting little frozen snouts! Its very spring like in the UK today with temps at about 12C. This has created a light spring frenzy in Luigi dog and he is being particularly wild!

Glad you are feeling better. Hopefully spring is right around the corner.

  33. We don't really get 'snow days' in Canada. Otherwise, our offices and stores would never be open! LOL! It sure does make for pretty scenery and happy pups though! :)
