Hard Work!

Real life took the drivers seat this week, which in turn caused tumbleweeds to blow around my blog this week.

It all may have taken me away from blogging, but there was nothing that was going to keep me from getting Todd to his grooming appointment on Thursday.
And there was nothing that was going to keep Todd from trying ...
...to get off the obnoxious bow afterwards and to try and get rid of that pretty smell.
AFTER he checked out the corner of the yard again ... Just like he was doing in our last post.
It's hard work that really wears out a Scottie!

  3. When we would have our golden retriever (Emma) groomed she would come home with a large pink bow but being female, she didn't seem to mind.
He is a handsome dog but probably his masculine self felt the bow a bit much to bear and dogs, when all's said and done, do like to smell as dogs should smell.
I think after all that activity he deserved, and needed, a rest.
    He is adorable.

  4. Scotties and bows just don't go together. Getting groomed is bad enough. He looks so handsome and ready for Spring.

    "Eliminate the grooming

    It didn't work for her.

  22. He knows he doesn't smell like himself when he gets home from there. Lol. He has to 'fix' it! Plus he doesn't need a bow to look super handsome, and he knows it! :)

  26. What is it with the fur stealers? Mine don't do bows but they put a STUPID neckerchief on me EVERY TIME... I HATE it!!

  28. He is a Scottie, that's for sure! I loved your last post, and this one really made me laugh. We've only had our Labs groomed once, a long time ago. They did the same things as Todd right away (jumped in a cranberry bog to get off the nice smell and cover their bandanas in mud!).

  29. Happy Easter Kim, Carl and the whole pack! I'm not so sure that some of intended comments have posted. I have been keeping up and following along as always. Hoping you all had a fantastic day...I have a feeling Todd's "finery" didn't make it until Easter Sunday!

  30. I swear Todd is the most handsome Scot I have ever seen! Funny, I gave Ryker a bath with peppermint shampoo and the nest day he rolled in poop. Needless to say he got another bath...no peppermint this time!
