It all may have taken me away from blogging, but there was nothing that was going to keep me from getting Todd to his grooming appointment on Thursday.
And there was nothing that was going to keep Todd from trying ...
...to get off the obnoxious bow afterwards and to try and get rid of that pretty smell.
AFTER he checked out the corner of the yard again ... Just like he was doing in our last post.
It's hard work that really wears out a Scottie!
he's such a cutie! yes, mine roll and go into the pond (if they can) if they go to the vet or anything. gotta be back to 'home stink' as quickly as possible. :)
ReplyDeleteTodd, you really did work and work to get rid of that pretty smell and bow didn't you!! But look how handsome you are!! I know,, you really don't care if your handsome or not!
ReplyDeleteAfter all that rolling around,, you deserve to rest!

When we would have our golden retriever (Emma) groomed she would come home with a large pink bow but being female, she didn't seem to mind.
ReplyDeleteHe is a handsome dog but probably his masculine self felt the bow a bit much to bear and dogs, when all's said and done, do like to smell as dogs should smell.
I think after all that activity he deserved, and needed, a rest.
He is adorable.
Scotties and bows just don't go together. Getting groomed is bad enough. He looks so handsome and ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I have just fallen in love with Todd. He is a beautiful boy,
ReplyDeleteCool boy, blue suits him so well, and I'm sure he smelt like roses till the roly-poly fun.
ReplyDeleteKyla used to scream,
ReplyDelete"Eliminate the grooming
get your dog back".
It didn't work for her.
Bows ! Smelling sweet ! What's the world coming to ?
ReplyDeleteThe very first thing the girls do about returning home after fur stealing...is ROLL! All over the rug...all over the furniture! It's SO funny! They do NOT like the bows or the scarves either!! I guess it reminds them of the smell of "THAT Place"...BOL!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I guess Todd does not have a feminine side.. He is so cute. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet boy ! I love his antics so much like our Miggs ! who goes to the groomer for her do on Saturday coming ! Thanks for sharing , lovely photos ! Have a good week !

Morning Kim, Todd is so adorable, what a treat to have such a wonderful little fellow.BlessingsFrancine.
ReplyDeleteDon't blame Todd...the peeps told our groomer not to put and bows or bandanas on us...we just go out and shred then on the fence....your right a Scottie job does wear one out..........have a nice nappie poo Todd.
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
My Allie often found somethig dead to roll in after being groomed. *sigh*...
ReplyDeleteMine always roll in whatever stinky thing they can find to lose the clean smell.
ReplyDeleteTodd looks gorgeous! Don't blame him for not liking that big blue bow.
ReplyDeleteTodd is a natural born digger...he needs a hard hat and spade...not a sweet smelling bow!..:)JP
ReplyDeleteSo, so stinkin' ' cute!
ReplyDeleteHoping your week will calm down this week.
Gus' Mom
I agree very cute even though he doesn't like his bow.......
ReplyDeleteHe knows he doesn't smell like himself when he gets home from there. Lol. He has to 'fix' it! Plus he doesn't need a bow to look super handsome, and he knows it! :)
ReplyDeleteHe is acting just like our Loki use too! LOL!
ReplyDeleteTodd looks very handsome in that bow but we know we would never keep it on for long either.
ReplyDeleteBOL He is such a scottie, tried and true. Mom is laughing so hard about that corner.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
What is it with the fur stealers? Mine don't do bows but they put a STUPID neckerchief on me EVERY TIME... I HATE it!!
ReplyDeleteHe is too funny. But he does look cute with the bow.
ReplyDeleteHe is a Scottie, that's for sure! I loved your last post, and this one really made me laugh. We've only had our Labs groomed once, a long time ago. They did the same things as Todd right away (jumped in a cranberry bog to get off the nice smell and cover their bandanas in mud!).
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Kim, Carl and the whole pack! I'm not so sure that some of intended comments have posted. I have been keeping up and following along as always. Hoping you all had a fantastic day...I have a feeling Todd's "finery" didn't make it until Easter Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI swear Todd is the most handsome Scot I have ever seen! Funny, I gave Ryker a bath with peppermint shampoo and the nest day he rolled in poop. Needless to say he got another bath...no peppermint this time!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteTodd, I'm with you! Out the door and roll, and roll!
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
