There are many national days to celebrate -- National Cookie Day, National Pie Day, and even National Get Over it Day. But it's difficult to see how all of those could even begin to compare to National Puppy Day, even though the pie and cookie day might come close. So today, we celebrate our puppy, Todd.

~Todd, June 2011~ |
Todd doesn't care about any of the celebrations. He has been far to occupied with what's going on in the corner of the yard by the barn. He was there last evening.
And he was there this morning.
I was home early from work, and after a quick pit-stop he had to check out what he may have missed.
I'm guessing Todd didn't miss anything. I told him that but I don't think he believes me.
Because he's still out there. The Goldens would have long forgotten about whatever it is. But not Todd. He has the focus that only a Scottie can have!
oh, that little fuzzy pup. what a cutie!
ReplyDeleteBOL it's so true, I saw a bunny ONCE under the stock trailer and I still have to check there every time I go out. Stay focused Todd whatever you saw ONCE is bound to return.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
A true terrier - Never give up!!
ReplyDeleteMust be very important...not even that ball could lure him away......a scottie doing what we do best...staying after it....hope you figure it out Todd.
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Stubborn and Feisty-that's a terrier.
ReplyDeleteHappy National Puppy Day, Todd! You were one sweet puppy and have grown to be quite a curious .... older puppy ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe know all about the focus. And we've found that the scottie's usually right. There'll be something there.
ReplyDeleteTodd, your little personality just makes our heart feel warm and happy!

Our Miggs is the same she doesn't give up . Todd is soo cute quite the character he is . Cute photos ! I think for or us every day is a celebration of our pups , who love us unconditionally and are our best buddies ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteP.S all though I am quite sure both Todd and Miggs would celebrate cookie day if they knew there was one lol !
ReplyDeleteThere's something there and that's for sure!!!!!!!! Gotta love a terrier.
ReplyDeleteOur Ginger Boy focuses seriously where he last saw the wee bunny, it has been gone for many days now, but after a feed, sits on the top step and scrutinises that gap intently. Keep it up Todd, you'll prove to us all that there was something special there after all.
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta love a dog with conviction. How many day will it take for him to shift focus? LOL

I think there should be a National Todd Day, just for one special little Scottie!
ReplyDeleteSuch focus Todd!
ReplyDeleteReminds us of when Floyd was small. he dug up a witchetty grub in the garden and ate it, for DAYS after he would go back to the same place to look for another one... Must have been VERY tasty!
Oh Todd, so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteBut that's some focus you've got there Todd, my attention span is like 2 seconds or maybe shorter!
Loves and licky kisses

If we all had the focus of a Scottie - they will remember every where they ever saw a rabbit or lizard!!
