Time Flies Past

I don't know about you, but for me, time seems to be passing all to quickly.  We have really gotten caught up in a whirlwind and time has just flown past us.  Each day there has been something I’ve wanted to post about.  I've even gone as far as to organize those little thoughts so I can tell you about them.
But then Eva needed to be taken to the vet to recheck her kidneys.
...And then Todd had to go back on another day to have his ears rechecked,
...And Ms. Yellow needed a rabies vaccine. And lets not forget that I have to work. I was pretty sure I was supposed to tend to all those things first.

So as of now, I am going to put those ideas on hold and I'll just tell you about the start of our week; which at the moment is not that exciting.  But I've a feeling Todd will find something to change all of that!

As I was writing this, I heard from the vet about Eva's test results.  While some "values" and her blood-pressure seem to be stable, unfortunately,  the kidney damage is advancing.  We're going to change the dose of one of her medications, and recheck her blood work in another week.  Fortunately she seems to feel pretty well, has a really good appetite. So, we'll hang onto that and consider it a positive.

I hope the week for all of you is off to a positive and good start!

  1. I think it's an age thing, this time speeding up. Some days go by with not a single thing accomplished.
Eva is stable, at least on the outside, so that's good. I hope there's no new big deal with Todd's ears. I wish you a good start to another week of (?) springtime.

  2. Hello, time does go by way too quickly. I am glad Eva is feeling good even though her test results are not the best. Todd is a cutie, I assume he like car rides. Cute photos. Wishing you and the furbabies all the best. Have a happy week ahead!

  4. Sometimes unexciting is good. Just jot down all your ideas, and attend to whatever comes along.

Just finished a book about Loudoun County....Bingo Night at the Firehall. Found it very enjoyable.

  7. Lots of trips, I hope they all travel well. If Eva is happy, hope she continues to be that way, and Todd's ears, let them be OK too. Have a happy week, even if so busy.

  8. Hi Kim, My days seem to fly by to and sometimes I just don't have anything to share. I hope your spring weather is cheering you up and I'm sure the dogs love being outside. Hope you have a great week.

  9. Mom is convinced that someone has sped up the clocks as time just seems to whiz by. But we tell her to take it one day at a time, and enjoy herself:) we send good thoughts to Eva and hope she has many good days ahead.

  10. This week I think we need to hold on to every little positive. I'm feeling sad as a wonderful Blogger's husband died within weeks of diagnosis of a brain tumour. Too fast, too fast. Let's stop and enjoy the little things in our lives. Glad Eva at least feels happy.

  11. It looks like your weather is more spring like now. I don't think I've ever been here for a visit when you have not been very busy with all your charges. Hope Eva continues to have some quality time.

  12. Some days can go by slowly, but the weeks and months whizz by. You have all your fur babies to keep you busy and what a good life you and they have. So much love all around.

  13. Is Todd your SatNav? Looks like he knows where you're going. At least there is some positive news for Eva, so that's good, and if she's eating well and contented, then that's the best thing.
The older you get, the faster the days and weeks go by.

  15. Yes the time keeps flying by. Glad that Eva is feeling good and eating. That is what we focus on with Bailey. He can't get around very well anymore but his appetite never waivers.

  19. Every happy day for Eva is such a blessing. I don't remember Ms. Yellow; she's beautiful. And Todd doesn't let that red ball get too far away from him, does he?

  25. I know the feeling of running out of time to get blogging done....whoosh! and the week seems to have gone. Finally caught up with some blogs this morning and yours is one of them and so glad I have had time to stop by. I hope Eva continues to be okay, as much as kidney damage can allow :( As for the little rascal (need I say who), I LOVE the picture of him being co-pilot in the car and as for him with that red ball and the naughty look he has...ahhhh ❤️
