And we waited a little more...
Then Verizon Man showed up, and before noon! Unbelievable, I know!
But even though Verizon man came, he wasn't able to find the problem. Our internet connection is still intermittent, but we are staying connected a little bit longer than we were before--I guess that's something....Isn't it? ~Josh~ |

Boy do we know what you mean, our internet has really been giving us a time. We spent 4 hours today and 4 hours last night with the internet guy. We still have problems thathave almost frustrated my Vickie to the point of having to stop blogging all together. WE are very sad.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with yours.
bert
Oh, we do understand connection problems.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, any internet is better than none.
Hope they can figure out something soon! They certainly won't mind charging you for a service you're not getting, that's for sure.
Have a great week, Kim!
The third picture down is so cute and funny to me. Its Todd going in under one of the Goldies, up to his tail and no further!
ReplyDeleteAnother cute Scottie joker!
Cheers,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat
You're almost becoming French .
ReplyDeleteBetter than nothing.

Internet troubles suck!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the dogs waiting for internet man. I know they do work on sundays because our phone company came to install our new box on sunday morning. And he was even on time, we were very surprised. Did you decide what you were going to do with the chair you found. Looks good on the porch.
ReplyDeleteANA
I adore the picture of Todd walking under the Golden!!

Internet problems are no fun. We have been having a bit of those ourselves. About the time I am able to sit down and catch up on my blog reading...oops no internet. But they are doing road work in our neighborhood so I attribute it to that since our lines are all underground.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have been keeping busy. Love the new/old half a rocker. :) Love the porch pictures. All of them.
That sucks about your Internet ... but the picture of all of the dogs sitting on the porch is just heartwarming. I showed it to Paul... I can totally see us on a porch like yours with a bunch of happy dogs.
ReplyDeletesentry todd underneath a golden tummy. his little tail at attention still!!!
ReplyDeletei laughed out loud in delight.
and your first impression with your neighbors sounded perfect to me. but you obviously had your angel wings tucked inside your shirt!
love dear heart,
tammy j
We had a similar problem with a phone line once. They came out and came out but couldn't find the problem. Finally I noticed at the box coming into the house that one of the wires was slightly exposed. When we had rain, the wire got wet...well you know. Once they replaced that, it fixed the problem.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Todd underneath one of the dogs. :-) PRICELESS.
Love the picture of the dogs on the porch, keeping a look out :)
ReplyDeleteWe are constantly having computer and internet problems, it's a rare day when everything works as it should.
Glad they have got you up and running for the time being.
~Jo
Everyone looks to be waiting so patiently :)
ReplyDeleteWell, that is impressive! I'm glad your internet is running a bit better :o)
ReplyDeleteis anybody else coming back to see
ReplyDeletetodd's tale at attention underneath his sibling? again and again?
i'm laughing ... yes OL everytime!
priceless.
when are you going to quit that stupid dentists office and take pictures for a living!!!
Oh my goodness......those pictures are just too funny!!! Sorry about the cable, but thanks for the laugh. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's a tower issue -- love the photo of Josh. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Todd under the golden, he puts a grin on my face no matter what end I'm looking at.
ReplyDeleteaww I want to watch on that porch with that gang....
ReplyDeleteWe shouldn't have doubted! Sunday internet repair- wow! Too bad it didn't totally fix the problem.
ReplyDeleteHi - just discovered your blog the other night and I'm enjoying the archives and am laughing, crying and smiling all the while. Your profile says "more rescued Golden Retrievers than I'll admit to..." how many? Come on, you can tell us! LOL As you may have wondered, our pack is indeed six Australian Cattle Dogs (all rescued)and recently a five month old, possible Dalmatian mix who is blind. She fits in with the pack since one is blind, one is blind and partly deaf and one is deaf. I look forward to reading more about life at Golden Pines! Hooray for all you are doing!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a patient lot!
ReplyDeleteWas it Todd who first noticed the net-man approaching and decided he wanted a better view?...Tee hee hee...I love the way his tail stands up with excitement!
I think I want that white rocking chair....
I'm amazed that the repair guy turned up too!...and couldn't repair it (or find the fault!), was he a Might Repair Man then?
ReplyDeleteMust be contagious, the last two days we're having the internet come and go. Very frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI love the shots of the dogs waiting on the porch.
Todd you fit under the Goldens so well. You make me giggle!
ReplyDeleteHope the service resolves itself since the repairman could not solve the problem.
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
aww Bless the goldie pack waiting with you x
ReplyDeleteQuite a welcoming committee you've go there! I know you must smile every time you come home from work.
ReplyDeleteKim, despite Verizon's claims, their services do not always leave us connected. We have had problems as well with intermittent Internet outages. Verizon did come and tweaked the lines a bit, but the only thing that would really help would be a fiber optic connection not available here.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are all so handsome, and I love the shot of little one under the belly of the big one, sorry I can't remember the names, lol.
ReplyDeleteSo internet here and there, how very frustrating. Hope that it starts to work better soon, we all need our computers and blogs.
Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams
that stinks!
ReplyDeleteand...how come they coudn't find the problem
If they can't who can?
