I've known for weeks that Todd needs to be groomed...
And this was really evident when the other day I tossed a treat to him...
And it landed on his back...Todd had no idea where it had gone, so he kept looking for it...
But the treat didn't move...
It just stayed there....
Poor Todd....
Shake and shiver and the treat might fall...or not. A thick coat is fine in winter, how soon before it gets cold at your home??
ReplyDeleteBOL!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Gorilla Glue made treats.
ReplyDeleteBella is bear-like, but as it's still cold in the mornings, she hasn't been groomed, other than face, ears and tail. Dui had a treat on his back the other day. It lodged there and didn't move.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a case of Todd needing eyes in the back of his head !
ReplyDeleteHello, poor Todd thought the treat was lost. His hair is thick!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, enjoy your day. wishing you a great new week ahead.
Oh Todd. We can't believe he didn't even feel it landing on his back.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have that problem. If someone tasty lands and gets stuck in the coat, one of the others rescues it. That's what siblings do.
ReplyDeleteI've had that happen a few times. Sorry pup, it's grooming time!
ReplyDeleteawwww... LOLOL!!!
ReplyDelete"MOM!!!" help!
actually I kinda like him shaggy. a whole new persona!
just don't throw any treats at him! XO
At least there's a positive side to being groomed for Todd now - no more lost treats!! :)

I love it! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile, Kim. :-)
ReplyDeleteBOL - if that happened to one of us, the other two would snag that treat so fast it would be gone in a nanosecond.

Todd, you are too funny. We hope that you were able to find it soon after. Your post just made our day. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week.

Lol! Poor guy. Hope he found the treat!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Thanks for the smile :)
ReplyDeletelol poor guy must of thought he had gone bonkers .
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate the laugh even if it is at Todd's misfortune.
ReplyDeletePoor Todd! It wouldn’t have made a ‘thunk’ so he wouldn’t know which direction to search!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny Kim! What a great short story!

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Todd, Cobi loses treats in her fur all the time, and also on top of those big ears on the top of her head. I think it's a human-treat-tossing problem myself! Unless you like getting haircuts, in which case yes, it is time. Whichever story works best for you, friend!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if you have ever heard of inflapotion ( small company in Montana named Glacier Peak HOlistics makes it) and herbal aspirin. I have used it for my older dogs (and even the younger ones sometimes when they hurt some part of their body). I just thought it might be something else to have in your basket for the dogs you see come through your house with different aliments. The company even told me that some of the employees take the supplements (as they are human herbs).
ReplyDelete*hahahaha* This post gave me a hearty laugh-out-loud this morning! Thank you for that! :-D Love, Andrea xoxo
