The Treat

I've known for weeks that Todd needs to be groomed...
And this was really evident when the other day I tossed a treat to him...
And it landed on his back...
Todd had no idea where it had gone, so he kept looking for it...
But the treat didn't move...
It just stayed there....
Poor Todd....

  1. Shake and shiver and the treat might fall...or not. A thick coat is fine in winter, how soon before it gets cold at your home??

  2. I didn't know that Gorilla Glue made treats.

  3. Bella is bear-like, but as it's still cold in the mornings, she hasn't been groomed, other than face, ears and tail. Dui had a treat on his back the other day. It lodged there and didn't move.

  6. Oh Todd. We can't believe he didn't even feel it landing on his back.

  7. We don't have that problem. If someone tasty lands and gets stuck in the coat, one of the others rescues it. That's what siblings do.

  12. BOL - if that happened to one of us, the other two would snag that treat so fast it would be gone in a nanosecond.

  17. Poor Todd! It wouldn’t have made a ‘thunk’ so he wouldn’t know which direction to search!

  19. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Todd, Cobi loses treats in her fur all the time, and also on top of those big ears on the top of her head. I think it's a human-treat-tossing problem myself! Unless you like getting haircuts, in which case yes, it is time. Whichever story works best for you, friend!

  20. I am not sure if you have ever heard of inflapotion ( small company in Montana named Glacier Peak HOlistics makes it) and herbal aspirin. I have used it for my older dogs (and even the younger ones sometimes when they hurt some part of their body). I just thought it might be something else to have in your basket for the dogs you see come through your house with different aliments. The company even told me that some of the employees take the supplements (as they are human herbs).
