That's check on that puppy and find out just why it's so quiet and peaceful...
This morning Todd knocked over the flowerpot on the back porch and as he dug into the pot, all the dirt was thrown into the house..And tracked through the house...
Lesson learned??
I don't think so...At least not for Todd!
I hope you're having a good weekend!
LOL!!! oh dear... i remember those days from almost 14 yrs ago with marigold... :)
ReplyDeleteIt depends on who is suppose to learn the lesson. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe same could be said about my 2 year old daughter! Puppies and 2 year olds are very similar. Both are very cute and always are in trouble when it's quiet...unless they are sleeping!
ReplyDeleteTodd is so cute!! Yep, so many lessons with puppies.
ReplyDeleteThat naughty boy. Who washed his piggies?
ReplyDeleteOh, puppies! It's a good thing (for them) they're so cute...Almost anything can be forgiven!
ReplyDeleteHeeHee Todd, keep em on their toes.
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch and I'll send you more ways to surprise and excite your humans.
Bert
Yeah, too quiet is never good with puppies...God bless the vacuum cleaner, eh?
ReplyDeleteHe's just doing what puppies are supposed to do...be mischievous! ;)
ReplyDelete<3 Daisy Boo
Is his middle name 'Jill'? Aah, that brings back the memories! I'm sure he'll live, she did..... will you?
ReplyDeleteBut he looks so innocent,, and sleepy. How can he have time to be so mischevious?

Ha ha ha! Oh, puppy mischief is so cute and entertaining -- when it happens to someone else! Todd could not be any cuter!
ReplyDeleteAh !!! the life with a Puppy, never a dull moment.
ReplyDeleteSheila & Bob
Nothing like life with a puppy .
ReplyDeleteNever a dull moment at your house!
ReplyDeleteSo much curiosity. How is Todd's daycare going now...
Way to go Todd!! You have passed the first exam on your road in Terrierhood :-) Yes, you have to be careful not to upset the hooomans too much with dirt in the house so once is probably enough, you can tick that one off the exam list now ;-) Next...how to dig a hole at the bottom of the garden! Dex and Lou xxxx
ReplyDeleteO no !!! Todd!!...don't do that !!...poor you....love from me...xxx...
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! Oh KIM ... but I bet TODD had so much FUN. I wonder where was the rest of the Golden Pines Gang. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteTodd, what a cutie pie who loves to dig in the dirt.
ReplyDeleteHe was having fun and I imagine your surprise at all the dirt was priceless.
Have a great weekend.
Oh my. Hope he grows out of it!
ReplyDeleteOh my. Puppies...
ReplyDeleteYour Todd is definitely a little stinker. I just love him and his antics. Puppies just can't help themselves, can they? LOL
ReplyDeleteUt oh! Good thing he's so stinkin' cute!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is just PRECIOUS, LOL!!! What a delightful mess - it's impossible not to smile :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks also so much for the lovely story of Riley. I can see the pain in her face but I also see the beautiful soul behind. I know by how your write about your rescues that we are kindred spirits. Bless you dear friend! I look forward to reading more about this girl.
Oh, yes. This does bring back memories. While you cleaned the mess, little boy took a nap... LOL!!

Puppies and babies - when it's quite, you know something's up and it's time to check them out :o) And then look how peaceful Todd is sleeping - after a little bath?? So sweet - you just have to smile :o)

Ooops - I meant quiet!!

Just read about the arrival of Riley..I hadnt read your blog in a while, because I found it too heart-breaking reading when one of the dogs passed. It will be a year in Oct. that my 6 yr old golden passed, but it seems like just a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI have mentioned it before, but wanted to tell you again how much I admire and am in awe of your generosity and courage. To give all of these needy and beautiful souls a loving home, and still have room in your house and heart for yet one more (and raise a puppy!), is truly inspiring and humbling.
AND, you still have a sense of humor in the ongoing antics of your new pup!!
Karen
Ah the joys of puppy!!! Better you than me I say...
ReplyDeleteWe're betting there may have been HBO words used at your house this morning!
This is the first time, this week, that hubby and I dissolved into absolute uncontrollable laughter. Our giggles morphed into a good minute or two of solid chuckling. Todd, YOU ROCK!
ReplyDeleteI just love that little guy.
Thanks for brightening up our day...even more!

Ha ha! Now the question is who learned the lesson? Will Todd stop gardening? Probably not. Will you keep planters out of his reach? Maybe.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs taught me to put the remote up high and to put my knitting bag away before leaving the room. We still haven't completely learned not to leave goodies on the kitchen counter. We humans are slow learners.
Oh how I would NOT have wanted to clean up that mess!
ReplyDeleteThat puppy will certainly keep you young.
uh oh ... someone is in trouble. But how could you ever be angry at that sweet face!
ReplyDeleteTodd is so cute that you just couldn't be mad at him.
ReplyDeleteYou have got to love the enthusiasim of puppies.
ReplyDeleteThey are such perfect angels when they are asleep.
ReplyDeleteNot so much when you are asleep.
Oh oh ~ sometimes quiet is not good! But look at that adorable face ~ nope ~ can't get mad. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to You Kim and Pups!
xo Catherine
Haha I was laughing sooo hard! and yes if you have a pup and everything is nice and peaceful, something is defiantly off!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness!
Leontien
LOL! your such a naughty pup, but don't worry just say sorry to your mom, and she will not get mad at you Woof! :)

Awww, mom, I'm just doing what puppies are supposed to do!
ReplyDeleteHe's such a doll. :)
Oh my...too funny, since it's your mess! ha... Todd doesn't look a bit repentant either. My collie puppy girls wear me out at times. Either they are constantly on the go, searching for something to get into OR they are too quiet so I have to check them out anyway. Lucky for all pups that they are so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteTammy
Puppies ---- so fun aren't they??????? Why was it that you wanted a puppy Kim???
ReplyDeleteMe I didn't want a puppy.
She was sitting next in line to be put to sleep when I called and she (Angela) told me about Tinker and showed me a picture of her and told me she was 1 to 2 years old. She said she would be dead in a hour if I didn't want her!!! What could I say????
YES our Blogging friends are the best in the world!!!
xx,Tinker & Fern
Oh Todd, thanks for the laugh, I needed it!
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been MIA...I'm suffering with a toothache and see a root canal in my near future! OUCH!
xoxo
Welcome sweet Riley Girl! :)
How could you ever bear to discipline that face! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a wee stinker!
ReplyDeleteOh Todd - even when you're naughty you are ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes - silence is not always golden.
ReplyDeleteHow's Riley?
Jed & Abby
