While I was working outside, the dogs enjoyed the warm sunny weather. Afterwards Lucas enjoyed a snooze on the front porch while stalking the cat at the same time.
But for Todd the day ended with a bath. He enjoyed digging and running through the mud left by the melted snow a bit too much.
And trust me, the only thing he enjoyed about the bath was when it was over! I hope you've had a good weekend too!
oh, sweet lucas and his cat obsession! and todd just makes me LAUGH!
ReplyDeleteMorning Kim, looks like a warm Spring day enjoyed by all, well, except for Todd come evening......Sweet little Woodpecker, great pictures.....The sun is shining here today but the wind is cool.......Have a great day, Warm Spring Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful weekend!! We are under a blanket of snow where I live but am away visiting for a few days where even though its windy and chilly there is SUN!
ReplyDeleteDoes Tod and his adorable face give you ad much enjoyment as it does your readers????
Happy Sunday all!!
Hi, Hunter got a bath on Friday and he didn't like it either but his smell was just too bad to wait until Tuesday when he gets groomed. I do love having a dog you can put in the sink. It is cold and windy here, the snow melted from yesterday; Hunter wants to be out but it is really blowing so he is laying in the sun by the slider. I too love spring, I don't mind getting up earlier and love being outside. Have a wonderful day my friend!

It's been quite nice up in Montreal as well this weekend, I was actually driving with the window open for a little while yesterday afternoon!
ReplyDeleteAww, Todd looks so pleased with himself.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I don't like about spring is how muddy the yard gets and the mess it makes on the dogs. We had a great day yesterday with sunshine all day (a rarity around here). I love seeing all the birds come back to our yard. We already have a pair of bluebirds that have staked claim to our BB nest box.

oh todd! oh lucas!
ReplyDeletethe two clowns in your life!
xo dear heart.
I love this blog.
Lucas and sweet kitty! That pic makes me laugh out loud. Love it. :) Yep. Todd was a dirty boy, but he looks all spiffed up after grooming. :D He's definitely smiling. Nothing like a little fun mischief he says...
ReplyDeleteOh Lucas I too stalk cats. But I must say you get much closer than I ever get (well except for getting close to Bert's Allred. But that's to close for me to be to the Devil cat). I am looking forward to Spring. This weekend has been a little taste of what is to come.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Lucas stalking the cat...LOL :) and Todd just brings a smile to my face!!
ReplyDeleteWell, Todd and Moon have been naughty...very naughty...!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteWe KNOW all about it, Todd. But a bath at the end will not stop the mud fun!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Yep Todd, looks like you had fun. I went through the same thing after our last snow, three weeks ago, However I Do Love a good bubble bath, and the toweling off with lots of rubbing and hugs from Mom!

My favorite season is spring for all the reasons you mentioned, but I could do without the mud part.

ReplyDeleteAfter a week of spring like weather..it's snowing here !
ReplyDeleteI could hardly believe how much snow and mud was in Northern VA. When I took Celti to the dogshow yesterday, she got so muddy!! But not near as bad as Todd.

Bath ? Whatever made you think Todd needed a bath ?
ReplyDeleteWorst party of muddy fun... Stinkin' baths!
ReplyDeleteHaha good job Todd!
ReplyDeletethe brown dawgs
Yes, SPRING is flirting with us as well. Can only hope winter is all gone bye bye! Sophie has visited a few mud puddles already in the park. Oh the car! We use fleece fitted bed sheets on her seat....ding ding ding...figured this out one day when visiting the Sally Ann...and it worked. So easy to slip on and take off.
ReplyDeleteRon
Great pictures, Kim! We hope you all at Golden Pines have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThor and Jack
I loved the stink eye Charlie was giving Todd in the first photo, so cute. Like he was saying, "Puppies, oh Todd when will you learn?"
ReplyDeleteLOL
Looks like everyone enjoyed the day! Todd even seems happy with his clean, fluffy self :)
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping winter is behind us as well. We'll see. And oh my, what a muddy mess Todd is! Love that last photo of him! Hoping you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - what a muddy mess that cute Todd is. My boys received baths this weekend too but thankfully they looked nothing like your little man. Looks like he had a great time though. I am completely enjoying the higher temps and daylight savings. I feel like doing so much more when I come home in the evenings when it's light out.
