I've decided that there's no point in cleaning the muddy paw-prints until it stops raining.
Because I'll just have to turn around and clean them all up again -- And on day three of the rain, I think I just might be okay with that.
And I also think that after all these years, I might be (finally) becoming immune to the smell of wet dogs.
I may have just found a silver lining to all this rain!
Lol...they all look happy with their new looks :)
ReplyDeleteRained here for the past three days, I'm thinking you are getting our system.
Love those cute faces.
~Jo
Those faces are awesome :D
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, and ahhhh the smell of wet dogs...good luck with that one. lol ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm letting muddy prints accumulate for a couple days as well ;-). What crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteWhere I live, you can easily forget the smell of wet dogs. Which is sad, I think. I was quite surprised at how Samson smelled after the last rain. I hope you will be safe from all that really, really horrible weather that is hitting across the South.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of dog to get wet Kim so I imagine immunity has come as a huge relief! x
ReplyDeleteWe had rain once this month-I think it was last Thursday.
ReplyDeleteWet dog, I really don't think I could ever get used to that one Kim! Next think you'll be saying you like the smell of those stink bugs :D
ReplyDeletelove your smelly, soggy bunch! i only have 4 but know exactly what you're dealing with! i sweet the floor to get the loose grit up and that's about it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe smell of wet dog. I have only pleasant associations with that--fun days at the beach, rains that ended the drought, puppies discovering puddles...
ReplyDeleteWe only have 8 wet paws here, so we can sympathise with all yours! Hope it clears soon....though it doesn't look like it worries the dogs much.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Bella & Roxy
I know what you mean about cleaning the muddy paws.. After a few days of rain, we have given up too. Your doggies look cute even all wet.. Enjoy your evening and the rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteDon't know how you manage to keep up with toweling them off, much less worry about paw prints.
ReplyDeleteOh give me a wet or dry dog, i love them no matter. Raining here too Kim, Spring is never coming. Enjoy all the furry faces, smooooch!!!! Hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks soaked! I'm glad you found a silver lining. I actually prefer snow to rain - so I live in a good place for me!
ReplyDeleteYay! Haha. :-) Glad you can feel at peace about it, Kim. ♥
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any rain. It all went North or South.
Was very grateful we didn't have any tornadoes, though.
Sooo what are you saying when we're wet we smell, then why do you humans insist on giving us baths?
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
I put Copper's coat on him which helps a lot. Moon, for some reason is easy to wipe off! Forget my floors though!!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYup same here with the rain and paw prints and with Miggs all though I will dry her with towels and hair dryer as she tends to get mange when left wet or damp ! It is foggy here this morning but it is to burn off and be a nice sunny day ! Lovely photos . Thanks for sharing , Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, your pups all look like they had a great time in the rain!
