Buddy is much, much less itchy these days and no longer has to wear the 'cone of shame.' His skin still needs to heal a bit more, but his new coat that is growing in is soft and healthy.
With a lot of last minute things to tend to for the holidays Saturday was a busy day. But we weren't too busy that we couldn't meet some friends who are in town for the holidays to visit family. It was an unplanned get together, and we met at a nearby winery. I'm glad we made the time, it was an enjoyable visit with them while we listened to a jazz band.
It's the winter solstice, and the sun has now set on the shortest day of the year and the longest night has begun. Sheba is ready for the shorter days that take us closer to Christmas.
And Todd is ready for the longer nights to recharge his batteries.
Are you ready for the week ahead?
Well, I've been pretty good just one incident under the Christmas tree but I got my paws crossed that Santa Paws will come anyway.....he just needs to watch where he steps. Merry Christmas to you and gang.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,

Don't think we've ever seen Todd asleep before...BOL! Seems you've got everything under control.

ReplyDeleteIts good to get those re-check vet appointments taken care of- isn't it Kim
So good that Buddy's skin is getting better! And hoping Beau's ears get better with the medications and vet check on the 30th.

Oh it's good that Buddy is feeling better and Beau's ears are slightly improved. I do hope they are much better by his next visit to the Vet. It was good you were able to catch up with your friends at the winery. It sure looks like a nice place. It looks as if you are all prepared for the coming week. Mum's been running around like crazy but I think she has it all under control for Christmas now. I can't wait. I love Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you all!!
