Charlie the Helper!

This has to be the week that technology is against me.  Something happened to my cell phone. It was able to be resurrected, but I have lost all my new contact information, texts and photos since I'd gotten the phone because they'd not been saved.  My phone is now set up to not let that happen again.

Then my dishwasher stopped working.  I'd seen it coming because the lights on the control panel seemed to be going off and on at random times even if it wasn't running. Then it just stopped running. Of course the dishwasher was totally full when this happened.  To some, not having a dishwasher is not a big deal.  But I can never remember a time when I liked washing dishes.  Fortunately I had help because...
Charlie was more than happy to help with the "pre-wash."
Once Charlie and I were done in the kitchen, he helped again by keeping an eye on Apple.
What would I do without Charlie?  What would Apple do without Charlie?
I'm glad we don't have to find out!

  1. What a good dog Charlie is!!! He really loves cats, doesn't he? I'm glad he has Apple to tend to. Now, if only he could learn to back up your phone for you :)

  2. Maybe Charlie thinks he's a cat. I had a dog that did nearly everything the cat did. Found as a puppy, he related better to the cat. He didn't learn to bark until some fool (not me) taught him how. Charlie is a good sitter, that's for sure! So sorry about your phone, DH had the same problem when his phone died. Dead dishwasher? Lady, you are not having a good time of it aren't you? I really don't know what we would do. We already use paper plates etc, but some things have to be washed!

  5. Awww, Charlie is so sweet and helpful. Sorry about your phone and the dishwasher. We have a dishwasher but rarely use it except on Thanksgiving. Hubby is the dishwasher in the house. Cute photos! Have a happy day and weekend ahead!

  11. Appliances don't last as long as they used to because everything relies on computerized parts to work. Once the board goes, you either have to buy a new one and have it installed which costs lost as much as a new appliance. It is very frustrating and expensive.

My new pet is walking around with the same cone as Apple. She bit out all her stitches last night and pulled her onesie off. I thought she would be tired after her surgery, but was up all night causing havoc.

    1. Good Morning! No, Charlie and Cici didn't have that kind of a relationship. Charlie seems more drawn to kittens than he does cats for whatever reason. I wish I knew why....

  14. That photograph of Charlie and Apple is adorable. It just doesn't get cuter than that. Sorry about the dishwasher. I know how you feel having just replaced a fridge and a washer and dryer in a two month period.

When the holidays come around i am the one to do the dishes. LOL. Doing dishes, laundry and ironing are actually my favorite chores. I know crazy.
