With my van unexpectedly in the shop the past few days making it work with one car and a mid-day snow storm on Wednesday only added to the hectic pace of the week. Unfortunately some people don't slow down despite the snowy roads and accidents happen, like the one below that wasn't far from home.

~During our snowstorm yesterday~ |
Beau returned to the dermatologist for a check of his ears this week. There has been some progress in getting rid of the chronic ear infections, but not enough. He'll do another 4 week round of the strong antibiotics and medication which hopefully will be enough.

~Beau waiting for the Dermatologist~ |
In between his appointment Beau spent time in our office. The last time I brought him into work, he had to be taken back out to my van because of periodic
"woofs?" that were heard through the office.
This time, he must have known that the car was not nearly as comfy as my van and Beau was the perfect visitor and charmed everyone!

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope you've had a good week!

ReplyDeleteTake your dog to work is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a smart boy and a quick learner. I hope you can get the infections under control so he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteWell Beau has completely charmed us as well !
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would want to be driving in that snow at all let alone too fast!
Loves and licky kisses

Some snow, and Beau there to charm all who come in the doorway, he is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteGlad Beau is going in the right direction. xxx
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why people knowing that accidents happen all the time especially with snow fallen, why they go fast and drive irresponsibly. Crazy. Just like when it rains. ARGHH.
ReplyDeleteGlad Beau has had some progress and he definitely learns his lesson. TFS. ana
Hi Kim, So glad that Beau was such a good guest. I'm thankful that you weren't in that accident. WE have sunshine today and I'm loving it.
ReplyDeleteSending you warm winter hugs.

Howdy mates. Take care on your roads. We've seen some terrible accidents on our news, from the US. Paws crossed for continued healing with Beau's ears. What lovely photos of Beau and Sheba.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Paws crossed the infection clears soon. He obviously knows comfort...glad he was such a good visitor.
ReplyDeleteIt just takes one visit to the dentist to learn how to behave...LOL! Sorry to hear about the van. It must that time of year...:)JP
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, hope all goes well with the handsome boy. Sad about the van, oh boy, always something it seems. Hugs Francine.

Beau is one smart doggie.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't take much on slippery roads especially around the bends . I hope Beau's infections clear up soon . Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteHi Kim

Beau has such a sweet face, I can see his charm.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Wow, I hate to see accidents like that.. I hope no one was seriously hurt.. I love your Sweet Beau and Sheba. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason it doesn't snow in Florida . . . we already have the worst drivers. In my area we are known to have people driving the wrong way on the highways on a DAILY basis (no kidding). I think we're known to have more than our fair share of drunks too - which ususally explains our ignorant wrong-way drivers.
ReplyDeleteBeau could be the poster child for innocence ~ what a calm, sweet face. I especially like the second photo where he looks like you just might be interrupting his nap. :-)
I heard something sort of wacky the other day and it made me think of Beau and his ear problems. A gal at agility took her dog to the chiropractor due to chronic ear infections and something about his ear/spine was misaligned. After adjusting, the ear infections went away. It might be worth a shot. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Sending Beau hugs - glad that he was "on good behavior" the other day:)

i think beau is a PERFECT dental therapy dog!
ReplyDeletethat picture of him raising his head a little . . . it just warms my heart!
and to see him in the office and hear a woof! well how on earth could that bother ANYBODY! i think doctor so-and-so needs to lighten up. LOLOL.
here's to a clean bill of ears for that sweet boy beau.
and to nice dry roads for your safety dear heart. xoxo♥
Sweet Beau! I think I've told you before that my dentist's office has dogs. New pups are passed along to patients so they become socialized and are accustomed to new people. They are great therapy for nervous children ... And for not-nervous me, enjoying a dog fix.
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read the word 'van' Kim. NO car is big enough for your brood! Have a lovely weekend. x
ReplyDeleteI hope Beau will get rid of his ear problems. It's a great idea to take your dog with you to your work. Happy weekend, Kim!
ReplyDeleteBeau is a beauty. I'm glad he was a good boy this time and mo woofing.
ReplyDeleteGood to see those doggie smiles! We finally are getting some snow, and as always a few accidents as well.
ReplyDeleteAh! I wanted to comment last night, but the comment form had disappeared.
ReplyDeleteBeau is such a sweetheart --- I hope his ears get better. And good luck to you on the snowy roads. Take care!
Darn, Blogger just ate my comment. I'll condense it this time. I'm so glad that Beau was a welcome visitor this time!!!! I love when my dentist brings his Lab(s) to the office!
ReplyDeleteGood for Beau, he's such a sweetie! Love the pic of Sheba in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that Beau is able to go to work with you! Glad he was quiet this time!! The roads can be treacherous when it gets icy and everyone needs to SLOW down! Hope your weather has improved and Beau is doing better.
