I am my usual behind this week and I want to tell you all about Todd's clan reunion, and a few other things.

On Wednesday evening we welcomed a new addition via Lab Rescue, named Nina. She's 12 years old and was confiscated by an Animal Control in West Virginia for cruelty.

So, with her past behind her, as Nina's new and better life has begun, I am glad I can be part of her story and her gateway to helping her find the perfect forever home.
Welcome Nina!
Oh, what a sweet but sad face that Nina has!!! In no time at all, she is going to be smiling all around Golden Pines. She is so very fortunate to have found you.

ReplyDeleteNina will have a life of love and comfort with you all.
Nina does have such a sweet face . . .
ReplyDeleteyet I too think she has a look of sadness.
Happy she is with you . . .
I am sure she is enjoying the LOVE!
Nina will in time grow to know she is so loved and cared for, her eyes say so much. Todd, enjoy every re-union with whoever is in your own clan.
ReplyDeleteOh those eyes, Kim!! That last picture is saying "OK, this is wonderful... but I wonder when the cruelty is going to start because this can't be real."
ReplyDeleteIt's ok, Nina. You have no idea how wonderful life can be... but you're going to find out, honey.
Lovingly, Andrea

Andrea just said it all for me. I can't wait until Nina truly KNOWS that life is not all pain and cruelty. that's what those eyes show now. and yet she can still be gentle and loving and accepting. welcome beautiful little Nina. your life is about to change! XOXO
ReplyDeleteHello, I have always had a soft spot for Goldens and Labs. They are the best dogs. Welcome Nina, I am glad she was rescued. She looks like a sweetie. I hope you and Todd had a fun time at the reunion. Enjoy your day and have a great new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI rarely comment but the sweet face of Nina just made me write
ReplyDeletethat I am so thankful she has a good home now.

Crying over that last photo... :(
ReplyDeleteLife goes on...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing Nina smile.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Her eyes are sad, but I know this will change after getting all the love you have to give.
ReplyDeleteWow, did Nina come to the perfect home. She is one lucky Lab. beautiful Nina. Sad face but I am sure it won't be long before she is happy and smiling.
ReplyDeleteNina sure looks like a sweetie. It's good to hear she is getting along well in your home.
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful and so lucky to be with you. Abby Lab came out of a bad environment, puppy mill breeder, not allowed inside, heartworm positive and dumped at a high kill shelter when she was too old, skinny and sick to have more puppies. She house trained quickly, she is SO smart, and is just the most gentle loving dog. We've had her four years now.
ReplyDeleteI love that she has found a home with you - Welcome Nina, you are a beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteThe good part of Nina's life is just beginning at Golden Pines.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture of Todd.
What a sweet girl!

ReplyDeleteAnd Todd you be nice to lol !
ReplyDeletePretty girl! Hope she has a happy life from now on!

ReplyDeleteWe don't need to know the details of Nina's past. It will only haunt us. All that matters is that she is safe and is going to have a wonderful future with lots of tlc.
ReplyDeleteSuch good news about Charlie!! Sweet boy.
Your pictures have just been beautiful. All of those sweet faces and lovely blue skies.
