His Natural Element

What we have here, is a Scottish Terrier in his natural element.

Todd could not have been happier on a recent rainy day.

I had to bribe him with a couple of treats to come back inside ....

And I couldn't help but wonder what Todd was dreaming about afterwards?

  3. You sure look happy to be all wet and muddy, Todd. That would require a bath for us.

  13. The weather in Scotland is often like that, so his joy must be embedded in his DNA. He is adorable, I remember how happy I was when you got him. I thought the sheer joy he would bring you would balance the sadness of the loss of the old dogs you helped at the end of their lives. Kim, I admire you so much. Merry Christmas to you, your family and all the dogs that live with you now. From Faith and me.

  14. I laughed out loud at that photo of Todd. Definitely in his happy place! Does he accept being washed off? Our Goldie would flop down into muddy puddles as a puppy, but fortunately loved a warm shower. Our son hosed her off at their place, but grandma used proper dog shampoo and a nice warm shower and she just loved that.

Happy Christmas to you and your family - two and four legged - and may 2024 bring peace and goodwill.
