The last day of 2023 -- I've or rather we've made it through the holidays pretty much unscathed.
I've been off work since before Christmas. And after more than a week of eating too much of all the wrong things, and sleeping a little later than usual, I'm feeling recharged, and okay, not so grouchy too. Back to work on Tuesday.

Ree thought it was better than the half-box of baking soda she ate the week before.
I want to say thank you to each and every one of you who has visited my blog and taken the time to read, and comment on my posts.

My continuing goal is to be a better blogger next year than I was this year. There is a lot of room for improvement!!
~Marley~ |
That includes finishing the posts that I start writing that never get published to my blog.
~Iva~ |
And so, I’m looking forward to a lot of things hopefully improving next year.

And I wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope that your 2024 will be a fantastic year for you and your families who are two and 4 legged!!
I absolutely LOVE every single photo! Happy New Year to all! Lori
ReplyDeleteFirst, we are sorry you all had to pay the hat tax. We also had a less than ideal 2023 (one which after dinner Lady and Man plan to burn while standing around a small fire outside with spiked hot chocolate). Thank you for all you do to help pups in need. We send you our warmest wishes for a wonderful 2024. Lee and Phod and their Lady
ReplyDeleteWe love all the pictures of the dogs with hats on. Happy New Year to you and all your charges.
ReplyDeleteWho knew a cap could be stylishly worn so many ways?
ReplyDeleteGodspeed as we enter into the adventure called 2024
Many, SO many greetings to you and all at Golden Pines. Those photos show happiness in huge amounts, so I am guessing that everyone had a joyous Christmas. Warm hats, a parcel in the mail ( who knew that their so loved doggie would get mail from them for a birthday treat or two?)Maria, this shows love that travels far and wide. Kim, I hope you had some relaxation and without travel times to adhere too, managed to enjoy the days at home. Best wishes to all from down in NZ.
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration---and I love every one of those 4-leggeds that you continue to give shelter and love to! This has physically been the roughest year I have ever personally had to go through, so I'm hoping that I have so much healing in 2024 so I can become owned by another 4-legged pup. Happy New Year to all of you!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your Golden family+ Ree and Todd. Thank you for all you do. I'm hoping for an improving year as well, and maybe finally welcoming a doggie or two into our empty house. Take care! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures! Please don't worry about blogging when there's too much going on. It's important to take care of yourself. ❤️
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the crew wearing their lights, and hats, made me chuckle - what a wonderful way to start the New Year ! Wishing you all - pups and humans - the very best for the coming year.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI just love all your furbaby images, so cute. Happy New Year to you and your family, wishing you all the best in 2024!
Each face posted today brings joy to my heart, Daisy made me laugh out loud and Todd pulls on the strings of my heart every time I see him. I am so glad your retreat for Goldens has become a retreat for those in need no matter the breed. God bless you and Golden Pines, your dream come true. I am thinking you can't find a home for Todd because he belongs where he is....
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Loved to see the Goldens and Todd in the hat! I always like reading about your pet crew!
ReplyDeleteKim you surely do take the most beautiful photos of your furry ones, capturing lots of love in their eyes.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you all...have a good short week at work too
Hugs Cecilia
I'm glad you found my new blog, that said, I too need to be a better blogger this year. Happy New Year to you, Carl and all the doggies. That I no longer know except for Todd, shame on me. But I will do better in 2024.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a delight to see your post today and all those bright smiling faces and hats! I'll return to this post any time I need cheering up. (I say that seriously.) Happiest new year to all at Golden Pines and thank you for each and every post!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your beloved furry friends. Poor Lee - I'll bet she regretted that typical Labrador greediness! Your break will have done you the world of good. Indulgence and relaxation, a perfect prescription for the end of a tough year.
ReplyDeleteHi friends, happy new year! Happy birthday Ree, you are very loved! We were happy to see all these doggy photos!
