Awhile back, I read a study that said that our most clever pups use their eyes to communicate with their owners, particularly when it's regarding food or attention. I will say I thought that already -- And there was no doubt about what Jack's eyes were saying when it was past dinnertime and I was sitting and doing nothing to change that.
Doesn't Jack look like he's glaring at me with a raised eyebrow?
Eyes really are a window to a dog's soul. And ours too.

Love those eyes and your cute dogs! Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLook at those sweet smiles (and eyes) on the faces of Daisy and Lily. But Jack is definitely telling you to get up and get moving! That looks means business. 🙂
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Our pups communicate so much through their eyes.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet they all are.
ReplyDeleteTodd welcome the the teens and OMDs did you have a fine celebration.
ReplyDeleteLOL LOL I love the raised eyebrows Jack. Kisses to Daisy, Lily, Jack and Todd
Hugs Cecilia
What beauties Daisy and Lily are - they have such sweet faces. Poor Jack, he looks as though his patience is wearing thin!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pups, they all give such so much happiness to our lives.

I love pups but shouldn’t have one because I’m too much of a sucker for puppy eyes. It wouldn’t be healthy for either of us, ❤️
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you are so right on this one. And look at those sweet expressive eyes. We are using ours right now to try to get the Momster on the stick with our dinner.

Yes the can talk with their eyes. I think they can tell time too!
ReplyDeleteI used to get those Jack-looks all the time. lol Thanks for the smile.
ReplyDeleteEyes are wonderful! I am a Springer Spaniel and "Spaniel Eyes" are the stuff of legend!!!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
Currently, I have no dogs. My 4 cats give me the “look” and if I don’t “obey” they start pointing to the clock. (Gentle smiles). Supper is past due. Amazing how our pets have us trained
ReplyDeleteI agree, 100%, dogs communicate so much with just their eyes. My Sophie makes prolonged eye contact when she is trying to ask for something or even when I am talking to her about my day. People think she’s odd, but I love it.
ReplyDeleteLily's eyes to me say...glad to be here, glad to be anywhere, just don't make me move.
ReplyDeleteme above about Lily.
ReplyDeletePrecious pups!
ReplyDeleteSo true they really have figured out how to use their eyes to melt our heart, or to give them a treat. Then you said Todd is 13!!! I remember when he arrived. I commented that I felt he would be a wonderful balance among all the older dogs and now he's 13! We've known each other a long time, Kim.
