It was a gorgeous winter wonderland and pretty to watch fall, and not stick to anything. My favorite kind of snow!
The day has been spent quietly at home, catching up on a few things. The Holistic Vet came to see both Josh and Jake. We are both really pleased with Jake's progress and she mentioned that she thinks that he could even be made available for adoption.
I stopped her right there -- I don't even want to think about that because I'm still trying to come to grips with the thought that Reggie/Sherlock may be leaving tomorrow afternoon. The Lady is due to be here between 1 and 2 o'clock. I'm sure it won't take long to figure out if they are a match or not.
~Reggie/Sherlock, will he stay or will he go?~ |
A nice peaceful snowfall - nice because it won't last. :)
ReplyDeleteJake? This wasn't part of your plans, was it?
Not sure what I'm wishing for tomorrow ...

It should do your heart good if you put one or both of them in good loving homes. That leaves room for one or two more who really need you.
ReplyDeleteI think winter was kissing Golden Pines,, goodnite,,,and its own way of saying,,,,"see you next year". Beautiful snow!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh,, I know the anxiety your feeling about tomorrow,, to see if its a match or not,

Oh Kim, the waiting is bad enough for us, but it must be unbearable for you, but we're sure you'll make the right decision.
ReplyDeleteHello, I was surprised to see the snow too. I am glad it melted right away. Your dogs are all so sweet. I am happy to hear Jake and josh are doing well. I am hoping that Reggie/Sherlock stays with you! He seems so happy there. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteOh YUK ! snow ! Hope it is all done for you and spring arrives fast . Hope all goes well with Reggie/Sherlock but also hope he stays with you all hehe ! Glad the holistic treatment is working for Jake now lets hope Josh improves as well ! Thanks for sharing, Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteWishing Reggie-lock luck today with this Lady. Glad to hear Jake is improving (that is important no matter where he lives!)
ReplyDeleteThey are calling for a foot of snow later this week, spring is not really coming!
praying the best for the dogs,I`m hoping Reggie stays with you tho. I rehomed Susie, the golden I took in. The owner went to a nursing home. She didn`t work out with the rest of my dogs.I`m guessing that is why they did not tell me she should be the only dog, even tho she is 8.The pastor she is with now has 3 small children & she is perfect as their first dog, hoping the spring weather shows up soon, have a happy Sun.!phyllis
ReplyDeleteWe had snow yesterday too.
ReplyDeleteActually more like tiny little white balls that melted as it hit the ground.
I agree, that's my kind of snow too.
I hope that Reggie/Sherlock either stays with you or that you love this woman so much that it makes it easy to send him off to his forever home.
(I'll be holding my breath until your next post though,)
xoxoxoxo
Maybe the late snow will make for less bugs this summer?
ReplyDeleteMorning Akim, we had a day last week like that, the snow was almost home then more white stuff.... Hopeing the boys do stay with you, they are loved.Hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteOur Springlike temps disappeared for a few days and we have even seen a few snowflakes, but we know Mom is so ready for Spring to be here. We hope the visit today goes in whatever direction is best for Reggie/Sherlock.
